Last night was a wow wow wow book club meeting at my house…. it was a discussion over the book Postmistress, and I read this last fall and found it to be an ok read, but not one I wanted to review again…. well… last nights discussion made me change my mind. Later this week I will share the food, the discussion… did I mention the food? 😀

My most anticipated book was Revolution by Jennifer Donnelly, it is also one of my favorites.

I had the opposite experience. I pretty much loved the Postmistress (except for a couple of complaints) but after a discussion with my book club, I ended up liking it somewhat less. Funny that.

Right now my top book for 2011 that I am looking forward to is Cocktail Hour Under the Tree of Forgivbess. Alexandra Fuller is coming to a local library to speak and I cannot wait! Another good one yet to be released is the fourh book in the Eragon series Inheritance by Christopher Paolini. Good luck everyone in the giveaway!!
I still need to get Raising Stony Mayhall by Daryl Gregory. I loved his first two books so I’m sure I’ll love this one as well. I just came out in July.

Don’t you love when you draw a blank? I am looking forward to the next book from Becca Fitzpatrick silence, I was looking forward to Bloodwork from Kim Harrison and Shadow Fever by Karen Marie Moning. I liked both of the later two and may splurge on the first for my birthday.
I am really excited with The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin. Just 13 more days! Been hearing a lot about it an the blurb is pretty cryptic and interesting. 😉
