A reminder –It’s Monday! What Are You Reading has a new home! Kathryn at The Book Date has graciously taken on the meme to keep the torch going strong. YAY Kathryn!!!
So…. what am I reading? I am actually excited to let you know that I AM READING. That may seem like no big deal but I have been listening to a lot of audio this year and very little reading books. Thanks to that Arizona trip a couple of weeks ago I needed a book for the plane and I found one…
Wildalone is a little bit YA… a little bit paranormal…. and interesting. I am enjoying this “escape” read.
As far as audio…. well, I am almost always listening. Here is what is currently “ON” either in my car, on my phone, or in that old school CD player I keep on the kitchen counter because that is just how cool I am. 😉
I have never watched Mindy Kaling on tv. I have heard of her, and heard good things about her book so here goes. Or I guess I should say “hear goes”as I am listening to this one.
My fascination with Steve Jobs continues. I know he wasn’t always the nicest man… but he sure was a brilliant one.
As for what is next up… honestly I don’t know. I have so many “I want to” reads… and my life… well I just don’t know day to day so keep things pretty low key and try to take it quite literally one day at a time. The fact that I am even participating in It’s Monday is a “yay” for me. 🙂 Lets just say I had a little encouragement yesterday in an unexpected way that told me I needed to write. This… is writing.
At least it is a beginning. And I am DOING.
Please go and check out what others are reading by looking at It’s Monday What Are You Reading. I know I need to go and see what the books are that are AWESOME this season. I am sooooo out of the book loop 🙂
Trying to leave a comment for what are you reading monday..but don’t seem to find the area/space to add my titles..help!
There’s a tiny space at the bottom of the post that shows the comments…just click on that. You might also have to click on the title of the blog post first.
Hope that works for you.
Thanks Laurel for helping her 🙂 I just seen this.
I might need to listen to the Mindy book. I generally have trouble with audiobooks (I keep zoning out), but have had some success with humor/essays.
She is rather funny – a little crude at times (I am not a fan of that) but it is ok
I am fascinated by Steve Jobs, too…I saw the movie starring Ashton Kutcher and really enjoyed it. At some point, I want to read some of the books out there about him…..
Enjoy your books!
I have read several about him…. loved them all. This one so far is really interesting too… I now think I want to watch the Steve Jobs movie again 🙂
I’ve been meaning to read the Mindy Kaling books too. It’s probably a great pick for audio – she is very funny!
Enjoy your books, Sheila!
I just finished it – need to review 🙂
Yay for doing and reading and writing. Haven’t come across Krassi Zourkova, but seems like it was a good one for you to pick up. I can understand the Steve Jobs fascination, he was brilliant and at some point I want to read a book about him too.
I just got the Mindy Kaling book from the library. I never did finish her first book though I liked what I read of it. Wildalone is one I’m not familiar with. I’ll have to look it up on Goodreads.
Glad that you are participating this week and reading print books again though I count listening to audio books as reading. I hope you have a great week!
I may be one of the few that is not fascinated by Steve Jobs. Interested to know what you thought of Wildalone.
I haven’t read anything about Steve Jobs (would be looking out for this one).
Yay for doing a Monday post … *waves hi*
Nise` is not alone, no Steve Job fascination here either lol but hey it would be a boring old world if we all liked the same thing. Have a good week and happy reading 🙂
I saw a preview for the upcoming Steve Jobs movie starring Michael Fassbender (who I think is hot!) the other day. I think Kate Winslet is in it as well…
Of your current titles, Wild Alone catches my interest. I hope you have a good reading/listening week.
Steve Jobs won’t be easily forgotten, that much is clear. Thank you for sharing these titles. 🙂
my book this week is The Lady in The Van by Alan Bennet.
Keep reading, my friend. It looks as though you’ve some great books.
Keep on reading!!
Looks like a really good week for you.
HUGS.
