Have I mentioned how good it is to be home?
I have been back two full days now and I seriously do not even want to stick a toe out the door. My sleep patterns are off, I am wiped out by 7 pm, but if I go to bed I am awake by 4 am…much my hours of sleep in Florida. If you missed what I was doing in Florida that kept the odd hours, I posted about that yesterday.
Today, as promised I am posting about the book mail that came into my home during the past three weeks:
Yup. It is a crazy pile. However before you panic for me… the left row is all audio. A few of the books in the middle and to the right are purchased by me. Some are for release in 2015.

My Sunday is unfortunately not just hanging at home, warm and cozy with books. After church this morning a group of us are decorating the library for Christmas. It is a potluck event so I am making wild rice meatballs and pickle butts. The pickle butts recipe is going up here later today. It is easy and tasty! 🙂
Wow! Those should keep you busy for a while! I bet you had a blast opening all those packages!
I did have fun! That is one of the good things about being gone awhile 😉
That is a lovely pile of books…I just read One Step Too Far and loved it!
Oh good! 😀
That’s an exciting bunch of bookish goodness to come home to. Enjoy!
Thanks – I will 😀
I have The Look of Love on my list…enjoy all of your books!
Thanks Laurel 🙂
It was like an early Christmas opening all of those packages! I have my eye on The Look of Love, Lost and Found, and The Bookshop Book in particular. Happy reading 🙂
Thanks 🙂
wow, I love seeing piles of books, but the thought of the time it takes to read/listen to all of them, I find it overwhelming. Just my reading the HP books has been overwhelming lately! I honestly am looking forward to November being done with this year simply, for me, it’s been WAY too crazy. I hope you get to enjoy ALL these books, Sheila 🙂
I am looking forward to the next 5 weeks… I have much to do here as far as writing and reading but I do not have outside commitments and for that I an THRILLED 😀
Wow! Great stack! I see a bunch that I’d love to read – especially the Sarah Jio and the Mademoiselle Chanel. Enjoy your new books and have a good time decorating the library!
I am looking forward to come good reading time.
A good list to be reading this year. My list is different mostly mysteries but I thinking about looking for good novels to read. One I finished is DOBYN’S CHRONICLES by Shirley Mclain.

I enjoyed Unbroken and The First Phone Call From Heaven. I hope you enjoy all of your books. I wonder how you choose were to start!
OOH good to know!
Wow! That’s a lot of books, I see many on my list!
I didn’t know pickles had butts!! 🙂
Yup… they do. LOL 😛
Great books! You have some wonderful reading ahead 🙂 Pickle butts? I am intrigued.
I did not have time to post the recipe… soon though 😀
I have 1 book left to read for my alphabet authors and titles, 9 left for a book from each of the United States and three left for each of the continents (all mysteries). All to be done by Dec. 31. I’m reading like a house afire. …
NIce! I am way behind on updating my map of where I am reading 😀
It must have been Christmas at your house. What fun opening all the envelopes and boxes.
ENJOY all your books.
Elizabeth
Thanks Elizabeth 🙂
it’s still an awful lot, lol! I have a few on my TBR, enjoy!
That it is … I have my reading cut out for me 🙂 I have asked a friend to start reading and listening to audio for me as well to help out.
How fun to open all those packages! Happy reading 🙂
Thanks Mary 🙂
I would be excited to open all those books but then panic when I tried to fit them on my shelves! Good thing you have that nice new library room!
Right! My shelves are pretty solid. I need to read and purge 🙂
What fun to come home to great book mail. But your day today? You never stop!!
It feels that way Candice, it really does. I am hoping to get a grip on this over the next few weeks. 🙂
That should keep you busy for a while!
Wow, what a pile! I have not read Unbroken either, but it is on my TBR. Actually several of those book are. 🙂 Can’t wait to hear your thoughts.
My youngest son asked me the other day to make them “pickle thingies.” I said pickle butts? He said “that’s not what they’re called!” I kept telling him they were but he still doesn’t believe me. I can’t wait to show him this post!! (Are pickle butts a Minnesota thing?)
LOL – I first heard it from Amy (blame her!) 😀
Wow! So happy my book made it on your TBR pile! Looks like you have lots of good reading to do. 🙂
