It’s Monday! What Are You Reading?

2a

Hey there!  Welcome to It’s Monday, What Are You Reading!

I love being a part of this and I hope you do too!  As part of this weekly meme I love to encourage you all to go and visit the others participating in this meme. Fair warning… this meme tends to add to your reading list! 😉

Hope you are having a SUPER week!  I am, enjoying sunny Florida with my son.  We are here until tomorrow afternoon then back to Minnesota we go!  Only a day for me because I return to Florida on Tuesday in a different capacity – but that is another story.

Here is what was posted this past week:

TEN by Gretchen McNeil

NIGHTMARES by Jason Segel

The Vanishing by Wendy Webb

Quarantined by Joe McKinney (audio review)

Harry Potter World (Universal) Thoughts on the new Hogwarts Express and Diagon Alley

Gringott’s Bank Ride in Universal Studios Review

ARRESTED IN Orlando (what we Dechantal’s do in our spare time 😉  )

Harry Potter Re-Read/ Readalong – its not to late to join in!!!

Clearly I had all of the reviews written before the trip.  I have hardly read at all while I have been in Florida this past 4 days.  I read a little on the plane but have been running and exploring ever since then.  I am not listing any new books this week as I have to really focus on my two book club reads – Aviator’s Wife and The Dark Road To Mercy… that will be hard enough to get done before next Bookies meeting, which I will not be at but want to be able to send in my thoughts 😉

SO…. the linky is all yours.  What have you been reading this week?  What are you planning on reading next week?  Please add your link to your own It’s Monday What Are You Reading below where it says click here:

  1. I will be finishing both The Aviator’s Wife and The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People (a reread) then I will be starting The Carrier by Sophie Hannah!

  2. Reading “A Lady in France”, a memoir. Finished an amish genre ARC after reading Kimberly Elkins’ “What is Visible”, historical fiction about Laura Bridgham, Helen Keller’s forerunner at Perkins Institute, which was as good as publicity said. After the memoir, I have a horror paranormal I won to read and review

  3. I just fished The Good Girl by Mary Kubica and this week I’ll wrap up All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr, a book I’ve been savoring for about a month.

  4. Sounds like you’re having a great time! I just finished reading The Silent Sister by Diane Chamberlain and am in the middle of The Hidden Girl by Louise Millar.

    Have a great week!

  5. What great books you have for book club! Have a good trip home from Florida and then a good trip back down there. 🙂

  6. Lived in Central Florida for 22 years before moving up here to NC 2 years ago. The only thing I miss about FL is the parks. How I miss WDW & USO, my personal playground for most my years there. So glad you are having a great time. 🙂

  7. Glad you are having a great time! Harry Potter world sounds like so much fun!

When I lived in FL our kids were younger so we bought season passes to DisneyWorld and never got past the “Citywalk” area of Universal Studios. We would’ve loved to see Harry Potter but it wasn’t there when we were. However I read that they are building Daigon Alley in the Disneyland out here, so someday maybe I will get to see it. 🙂

If I were as busy as you are, I wouldn’t be reading either, except on the plane. Enjoy and make great memories!

  8. My internet connection has been terribly spotty, so I’ve taken advantage of this time to start (and finish) Etiquette & Espionage by Gail Carriger and Suspicion by Alexandra Monir. I just started Curtsies & Conspiracies by Gail Carriger, as well. 🙂

Hmmmm... what do you think?
