Good morning! Sunday already! I am sitting in the breakfast area of the hotel, drinking my coffee and enjoying a little people watching. This is the morning tradition. I get up, get ready for the day and wait downstairs until my son joins me. We then plan out our day.
Yesterday evening we went to the Capone’s Dinner and Show. It was a lot of fun! We arrived early, gave our secret password at the door, “two cherry cokes” and then proceeded to wait for our table. We sat with a fun group. Two couples from Wisconsin on one side of us, and an older group on the other side celebrating a 75th birthday. They were really fun to talk to!
The show was a lot of fun.
and then of course…
LOL! For $20 you could pick up this sweet newspaper of your arrest as a crime lord…. fantastic really and of course we had to have it.
Fun time, good food – recommended for those looking for a fun thing to do on an Orlando evening. Show started at 7:30, but you are welcome to show up anytime from 6 pm on for drinks and to get into character. It ended about 10:30 pm. Full buffet dinner was included: salad, pastas, pizza, lasagna, turkey, chicken, vegies, potatoes, pork, dessert and all of your drinks are included. The bummer was I was still full from lunch so ate two small squares of pizza, some salad, and sweet potato. 🙂
I have no books to show of what came in this week as I am not home until tomorrow afternoon from Florida. It has been a wonderful time to hang out with my son.
LOL GREAT post title, Sheila! Ha ha ha! My eyes bugged out! I couldn’t imagine WHAT you two could’ve done other than maybe use a killing curse on a jaywalker in Diagon Alley! lol 😉 Love the newspaper 🙂
LOL… I had a different title up and then changed it to this one. 😀
Good morning! Welcome to Florida 🙂 It’s chilly here where I live in Clearwater Beach. Hope the weather’s better for you guys.
You had mentioned that you sat next to two couples from Wisconsin during the show. I grew up in the suburbs of Milwaukee county. Capone’s reminds me of The Fireside in Fort Atkinson, WI.
Fun! We thought it was funny as we are from Minnesota. 😀
Oh, I must admit that the post title grabbed my attention. When we were moving from Tampa to Houston in the early morning hours, hubby got pulled over. We got off with a warning but now our daughter always refers to that episode as the time that “dai(she started calling him that when she just started talking and couldn’t pronounce “daddy” and it stuck) “got arrested.” 😀
LOL that is a great memory!
LOL … thanks for making me laugh this morning!
Oh good 😀
How fun! I love your mug shot!
That show sounds like a lot of fun. Love that type of thing.
We love Capone’s! It’s only about a 5 min. drive from Old Town. We’ve been going there for years. They have a car show that we like and there’s also a lot of neat shops and a small theme park and places to eat. They also have a live band and dancing. Check it out if you have time!
Fantastic souvenir! I would have to buy it as well!
What fun!
Sounds like you are having a great time in Fla.!
