Good morning! January 3 already! The first two days were a blur of activity. Yesterday I worked 12 1/2 hours for our annual meeting at work. It was a lot of fun, but yeah a LONG day. 🙂 Today will be a shorter one, I will work until about 1 or 1:30 and then I am going to the Library to assist with the author SKPE in of Lauren Oliver.
I am so excited – meeting Lauren was awesome! She is the author of Before I Fall, Deliruim, Pandemonium, Requium, and soon *SQQUUUEEEE!* – Panic! I have read them all 😀
On the bookish front…. yeah, I am a little behind but hope to make up some reading time this weekend and tonight. 😀

Lauren was in Montreal in November at a special event that I attended. She spoke about her writing journey which was quite interesting. She is unpretentious and I liked her immediately.
She is so good – the skype was awesome, we set the bar high with her 😉
I’ve managed to get to page 145 in my 319 page book. Feeling good and on track. 🙂

I think it is a standalone, when she talked today she said the only trilogy she was working on is a middle grade series coming in 2015.

I haven’t read any of the Lauren Oliver books, but I might just have to this year. At least one, to see if it’s something that “grabs” me…LOL. Enjoy the coffee!
Hmmmm, I think you may like Before I Fall Laurel. Otherwise she is the process of writing her first adult book.

This library of your sounds fun! I’ve read one of Lauren’s books, the first in the Delirium trilogy. I thoroughly enjoyed but I have a tendency to not finish trilogies and such, unfortunately.
