Good Morning. Since Donna from Writer’s Side Up likes hat I am in IHOP every morning… thought I would take a picture. 🙂 Here are my discoveries about 4 am IHOP:
1. A lady that works the early shift at IHOP, also works at the hotel I am staying at. She is very nice.
2. Some people… should not dress themselves.
3. When a man walked in this morning wearing all camo from head to toe (and no not a hunter)…. I wanted to say, “Oh! I almost didn’t see you there!” But refrained as I thought he may not get it. 😉
4. 50’s music. I did not know that was an IHOP thing. I like it. Wish I had packed my poodle skirt.
5. I wish I had an IHOP attached to my house at home. I would go there every morning… coffee and an English muffin. Life would be so simple…
Getting ready for work this morning… or more honestly… I am ready for work just caffeinating myself for another 11 hour + day. I am tired. I have not had a day to myself since October 19th, before vacation with my son. That is a lot of days of being “ON”. As an introvert that takes its tole. I am spent. 🙂

Ooh, it has been ages since I’ve been in an IHOP. When I was doing my social work job downtown, we often went there for group meetings, reserving one of the big rooms. I do love those waffles.
And now I am thinking fondly of poodle skirts…LOL.

Love the pic, Sheila 🙂 And I don’t think 50s music is an IHOP thing everywhere. I never noticed that to be a common aspect to the ones here (NJ). For me, when I go to IHOP, it’s my major breakfast binge which is why I avoid it! lol I want it ALL, so I get eggs, bacon, toast, home fries and pancakes. Yep! And soon you will be home, all cozy and hopefully more to yourself, Sheila 🙂 I do love the look of your early A.M. set up though. It looks warm and peaceful. Cracked up when I read # 2! lol
I do like 4 a.m. IHOP. I am pretty much alone except for the occasional strangely dressed person who wanders in. Of course I am wearing work out capris and a t shirt so maybe they think I am the weird one… 😉

Very funny ! What you said about some people should not dress themselves, I often say They look like they got dressed in the dark. Did you know the name IHOP is short for International House of Pancakes ? The first one I was ever in was when I was a toddler and it was in the Sun Ray Shopping Center in St. Paul. It was a such a treat to go there. I hope you can get some rest soon.
I think I have only bee to IHOP in Florida. I am not a big breakfast person, but I like the table to work on with my lap top as my room only has a nightstand. 🙂
We have an iHop not too far away and I’ve never been! (It opened less than a year ago.) I may have to check it out.
Its worth a look into. We ate there a couple of nights and the dinner food is good and a nice selection from sandwiches to chicken.
