Morning Meanderings: Party Hangover, Winners, and BOOKS!

1aaaaaaaaaaaaa1Good morning 😀

If you stopped by yesterday for the 5 Year Blogiversary party, thank you, it was a blast as it is every year.  If you missed it… well, you missed out on lots of fun foods, drinks, hot air balloons, trains, and elephants.  Yes…. elephants.  😛  I LOVE everyone’s great comments… (some are amazing (Ryan- Wordsmithonia) if you have time… check them out.  😀

The YOUNG World by Chris Weitz

And then… I usually do not receive too many children’s books but clearly I am on a mailing list as these little treasures came in last week as well.  Cute little square children’s reads 😛

SO that is what came in.  Yes, yes, the Book Expo books arrived and I will highlight that in future posts. 😀  Tomorrow I leave for Camp and on Tuesday I will kick off AudioBook Month so please pop in for those posts – they are going to be fun, informative, and there will be giveaways 😀

Today, I pack, I shop, I prep signs for camp, possibly mow….What are you doing with your Sunday?

  1. Congratulations to the winners! Enjoy your books! What a wonderful celebration!
Have a great and busy Sunday, Sheila. My plans are to catch up around the house and read. I am reading The Hidden Child by Camila Lackberg and it is a super mystery!

  2. Congrats to all the winners 🙂 Yay! And in that pile of books, the two that caught my immediate attention were seeing Neil Gaiman’s name and then the title Dreamwood. OOooooo 🙂 And, of course, picture books ALways attract me 🙂

    1. Oh… ha! I seen you typed Dreamwood and thought you typo’ed… this morning I was trying to find a link for the book but could not find it on line… I was typing in “Dreamworld” I read it wrong? 😛 You had it right. 😀

      1. LOL, Sheila! But isn’t this book IN your possession?! lol I REALLY am in love with the title ’cause I love the word and the concept. It’s right up my alley 🙂

  3. Congrats to all the winners! Camp…wow, have fun!! Our Sunday was quiet, and while I’m watching the Tony’s now, I really hope to finish reading a book tonight!! Have a great week

Hmmmm... what do you think?
