I just came back home late this afternoon from Detroit Lkes, Minnesota. My friend Sara had a timeshare for the weekend and invited a few of us to go hang out. We shopped on Saturday in Fargo, North Dakota, went out to eat and watched a couple good movies, It was a great weekend.

Pretty light week for me. I am hoping to have a better week this week. I am digging in to some good ones:

It’s a profile, like all the others on the online dating site. I just finished listening to Spring Fever by Mary Kay Andrews. She’s always fun! This book would be a good choice for when you need some sunny reading!

Sounds like you had a good weekend! Summer cation is such a fun idea, hope it was a blast. anything to bring on summer thoughts yeesh. Attachments sounds great, that may be the next Rainbow Rowell book I read.

Hi Sheila! Looks like you had fun this weekend! I’ve yet to read Attachments (I got to know Rowell through E&P….so good). Irish Eyes is an interesting title on a lovely cover. Not sure if I’d actually sink into that one though; let us know how it goes!

I seen other Mary Kay Andrews books around blogland, but this one is new. I have been wanting to read her books, the covers always draw my eye. Now I will add this one to my list that seems to grow faster than a weed in summer!

I have been home the past three weekends and that is weird for me… it was good to get out of the house 😉
I love Harlen Coben. My first read was “The Woods”. After that I wanted to read all of his books. Great writer.
“Missing You” sounds like a really interesting read 🙂 It’s been added to my pile of “TBR” books this Spring. I recently read a great novel by author Lubos Borik that I thought I would share with you and your readers called “Human Source Code” (www.lubosborik.com). In our modern day and age we deal with a lot of issues over privacy and rights violations, and this novel gives us some insight into how these issues may translate into the future. Exploring the frightening aspect of gene and DNA manipulation, the author gives us a window into what could very well be the future of “control” over human beings. An organization “profiling” people because of their DNA and a detective eager to expose them, this one is a fast paced and cerebral read. Highly recommend.
