Good morning from Fargo North Dakota. I feel like I should say “ayyy” but I think that is Canada….
Last night three of my friends and I went to the PINK Concert. Oh wow. BEST concert I have ever been too…. do not miss the chance if she comes to a venue near you! More on that later this week.

We arrived in Fargo yesterday early afternoon and ate at an Old Chicago restaurant. Our waiter (Paul) was super nice but super busy. We asked for waters right away and then watched him pass us many times with other things going on. Finally I caught him… “The waters?”
“Oh yeah!” he said and off he went and forgot us again. Pretty soon he did remember the waters and we waited about 40 minutes for our food. At first we were a bit annoyed at the lack of good service but then we started to notice…
Paul was the only one working the 20+ tables that were occupied. When he did come out with our food we asked him if it was always this busy. He said not usually and two people had called in sick. Ahhhhh…..
The food was tasty and we left him a very nice tip. 😛
These are the books that came in this week. The top one I picked up at the library. I had it on reserve and now I have no idea why…. (I must have read a review on it 😉 )

I have had two phone calls this morning that Brainerd Minnesota had an ice storm last night. The roads are bad so we need to think about our plan for our travels back there today. It is supposed to warm up this afternoon so we may hit a couple of shops in Fargo before we head back.
Hope your Sunday is wonderful. I am looking forward to getting back home and doing some reading. 🙂

I saw Alice Close Your Eyes on a table at Barnes & Noble yesterday…it piqued my curiosity, but I didn’t buy it. I’m waiting to learn more.
Hope you make it back despite the ice.
I can not even recall what it is about now but I d wonder.. what is with all the books with the word Alice in the title lately? 😉
The Shining?!
LOL – YES!!!! All day and night I was saying REDRUM and where my big wheel? My gosh – if I could find a big wheel I would totally ride it down this hall. 😛
The roads are terrible here. Left my driveway and went sideways down the road for about half a block before I could turn around. BE CAREFUL on the way back!! I got Alice Close Your Eyes this week too. Looks like a good one!
Thanks Angie – good to know. Stay safe!
I think Canadians are more likely say ‘eh’ than ‘ayyy’…did you ever read Still Alice? Great book!
Oh my gosh … that hallway is reminiscent of THE SHINING!
Right? Thats exactly what I see 😀
Did y’all get to the concert early? There are a lot of empty seats behind you.
We had a warm front come through and it brought horrible thunderstorms – we got 4.5 inches of rain in less than 12 hours. Stay warm!
We were early- it filled up full… we were trying to guess how much money they brought in.
Brainerd is under ice warnings now – we are trying to figure out how to get home 😉
Hmm…stopping to shop will be fun…we had thunder here yesterday, too!
I just got hoem and we had no trouble with the roads – YAY!!!
We are having a heat wave here. Above freezing, raining, and I can see our lawn… Been a weird winter so far!
It has – we just came out of record lows and then today was in the 40’s – felt like spring 🙂
The Shining!!
YES! Creepy yes? 😀
That hallway is scary!! Safe travels!
Thanks – we are home and safe!
Ey is definitely a Canadian thing… lol… Glad you finally got to go and had fun!
Thanks – it was a BLAST!
Pink was in my city last week and I heard she put on a fantastic show. Glad you had a good time and made it home ok!
MaryI am curious where you live (although I feel I should know this….). She was in Minnesota on Tuesday as well is why I ask, I just figured she was here all week 😀
I live in WI just north of Milwaukee (along Lake Michigan). 🙂
Ahhh…. neighbor. 😀
I bet the ice storm is coming our way. Glad you are safely back home.
Nice stack of books.
