I love being a part of this and I hope you do too! As part of this weekly meme I love to encourage you all to go and visit the others participating in this meme. While I am no longer offering up the giveaway incentive, I do hope you will still see the value of visiting other participants and seeing what they are reading- be warned though… this meme tends to add to your reading list!
I am home from a weekend at our cabin with friends. A little reading, a little eating, a little movie and games, and a lot of fun! Here’s a peek at what we did:

Wow, I’m the first? Sounds like you had a great weekend and I hope you have a great week!
Looks like lots of fun. Love the pumpkins. Have a great week.
Awesome Jack-o-Lanterns! And it sounds like a fun time.
Those lanterns look amazing and lots of fun. We don’t really do much of that for halloween in New Zealand. We also eat the pumpkins as a vegetable!
Awww! You guys did a great job. Very cool.
LOL! I haven’t posted in a book meme in forever but I did this one! yay! Hope you are doing well, Sheila!
We don’t really carve pumpkins for Halloween in Australia but I wish we did, it’s so cool!! Sounds like you had a fun, fun weekend. Have a great week and happy reading 🙂
Hey Sheila, those are some adorable faces! I love em! My fave is the second from the left on the bottom pic.
So festive. What fun times with friends. 🙂
Thank you so much for hosting this great meme!

My It’s Monday, What Are You Reading
Amazed by the size of these pumpkins – we never seem to get any that big here but then again it is only recently that people seem to be using them instead of turnip.
Looks like a fun weekend!
Hope you enjoy your books this week!

You guys did a little better job of carving yours than we did. 🙂 Looks like fun!
I haven’t carved a pumpkin in years but this it would be good therapy for me after the few weeks I have had! 🙂
So happy so see you getting away with friends, it’s fills our souls. I’m planning a girls weekend in a few weeks, just what I need.
Have a great week Sheila!
