Good morning all. Another cold morning here in Minnesota but I think we are on the upswing. Currently 4 degrees… practically a heat wave.
When I was in Mankato for a bike ride this past October my college son and I went to the movie Pitch Perfect. It was good, really good. This past week it came out in dvd and I rented it and now, returning it (LATE!) today, I can tell you I have watched it 5 times over the weekend.
5.
Yup.
I love the music, love the humor… really, it is the music though.
In other news, tonight will by my swearing into the Library Board. EEP! Sounds a little scary, but a whole lot of fun. I think. I hope. It will be ;).
And lastly, a plug for my 12K challenge. We have 22 people signed up so far and we start February 1st. If you haven’t checked it out, please do…. it’s going to be fun and we have a great team! 😀
Do you have any movies that you can watch again and again and again?

My favorite movie is The Hours. When I was in my last trimester of my third pregnancy and very, very tired/miserable/depressed, I used to watch that movie 1-2 times a day. Yes, a day. I swear I’ve seen it over 100 times.
I also have a few childhood favorites that I watched so many times that I have the whole movie memorized word for word, like Clue. 😀
Wow…. I am afraid to admit now I have never seen it… sounds like I need to watch it 😀
Oh, I have several that I love and watch again and again. For a few years, it was Fatal Attraction and When Harry Met Sally; now I’d have to say The Hours and White Oleander.
It’s seasonal, too; there are some that come out at Christmas, like The Holiday, with Cameron Diaz.
I’ll have to check on Pitch Perfect…I noticed it while scrolling through the movies On Demand on my TV.
OOH Fatal Attraction freaks me out! I do love When Harry Met Sally though. 😀 Oh and the Holiday!
I hardly ever watch a movie at home, so I rarely see them more than once. It sounds like you need to buy the soundtrack for that movie.
You are going to be so good for the library board! Whoever picked you is a genius.
I love movies at home… cozy 😀 I will be probably purchasing the movie…
Thanks about the Library Board, it was a fun interesting first meeting.
The Holiday – the music and the humour are terrific. If I’m down, that’s what I’ll watch and it’s sure to make me laugh. Now I gotta check out Pitch Perfect.
I may have to watch the Holiday!
For me it’s Love Jones, Boomerang & Two Can Play That Game – and I don’t even like watching a movie more than once!
I haven’t seen any of these 😀 Looks like I am missing out!
Pitch Perfect is adorable! I recently watched it with my daughter. I know I’m going to have to buy a copy soon 🙂
I have to buy a copy too! LOVED it!
I watch An American President over and over again. It picks me when I just need an escape. I also watch it each year while I am Christmas wrapping – a tradition.
I am not sure I have ever seen that on in its entirety. Another one I need to check out. 🙂
I can pretty much watch the Harry Potter movies again and again and again. NO PROBLEM!!!! Heh. 🙂

Oh me too!!!! Love them!
I have a bunch that I will watch multiple times.
I have a few series I enjoy (Gilmore Girls, LOST…)
I can watch Spinal Tap a million times in a row!! (Well, maybe not really, but for some reason that one never gets old for me!)
I love movies that never get old 🙂
I have watched “When Harry Met Sally” many times, cute movie! Lately, Ive watched “Somethings Gotta Give” lots of time! Jack Nicholson is so funny in this movie!
I really like Something’s Gotta give too!
You get Robert DeNiro and Joe Peschi in a movie together and I am there ! Goodfella’s, Casino, A Bronx Tale. But I also love Christmas movies and musicals such as It’s A Wonderful Life, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, and The Sound of Music.
I just do not a Christmas movie or a classic that I need to see again and again. I would love to know why that is….
Seasonal films (mostly christmas and halloween) are what I watch over and over again… Even if I do sometimes watch them when said seasons are over…
My Alfred Hitchcock classics get watched a fair bit too!
I have yet to see Pitch Perfect, maybe I’ll give it a try.
Hitchcock! I dont think I have ever watched one of the movies!
“Pitch Perfect” has been on my list. Your recommendation just moved it up higher on the list. Thanks! Some of my repeat movies “Best in Show”, “Witness”, “Funny Face”, and any Hitchcock!
I hope you enjoy Pitch Perfect… it has a few racy moments, but I really enjoyed it.
I want to watch that one!! It was 14 today…break out the sandals!
LOL – I think it was 20 here today, I went out without a jacket 😀
