As I sit here this morning looking out the window at a dreary drizzly day, it is hard to believe that a week ag0 at this time my College Son Justin and I were driving a rental car through Florida into Georgia to stay the weekend with Navy Son, Brad. The weather was in the high 70’s and the sky was clear.
Good times… Good times.
SO… for today’s Saturday Snapshot (go see Alyce at At Home With Books who is the master mind behind this fun meme) I thought I would post a couple of pictures from that trip that I did not post last week, as well as a bonus one from a previous event.

and a fun bonus pic…

So that’s my post. 😀 I have written a movie review this morning and I am not going to write a book review of Charlotte Street. Then I am going to drive t St Cloud (an hour away) to look at an ottoman set for the book room…. I am hoping my road trip will be fruitful as that is the final piece I am looking for. 😀
Once back home I will need to dig into the book club book and tonight we are going out to dinner with friends. That sounds like a pretty awesome Saturday to me.

What fun to share good times with adult sons…I feel nostalgic for the moments I’ve enjoyed with my grown kids.
Like your new “signature” photo for Morning Meanderings. Here’s MY SATURDAY SNAPSHOT POST
It was such a great time Laurel 🙂 Thanks about the pic… I thought it was more… me. 😛
It looks like your sons and you are very close.
Have a great weekend!
We are Kim 😀
Glad you had such a good time! Good for you, running in the Monster Dash. I don’t run well at the best of times….I can’t imagine running in costume (especially a dress!).
Here’s my Snapshot.
LOL – I ran for the pics Bev (SSHHHH! Don’t tell anyone!) the rest of the time I fast walked 😉
The Monster Dash! Fun!
And I agree…it sounds like a perfect Saturday.
It is Deb! I just have so many “laid back” plans that it is slowly slipping into a busy project weekend – but still… not so bad 😀
Glad that you had a great trip! Love your photo with the Lorax too. Enjoy the rest of your day.
It’s wonderful spending with children once they’ve grown up – I love the fact that my daughters now have their own homes, but still ask me to spend time with them. My Snapshot is at http://goo.gl/CQuKI
Sounds like a great way to spend a Saturday. Good luck on that ottoman excursion!
That does sound like an awesome Saturday! I’ve loved seeing all of your Harry Potter related photos. 🙂
So glad you had such a nice visit with your sons last week – sounds wonderful!
And I love the Lorax, too!!
Enjoy the rest of the weekend, Sheila –
