It’s Monday! What Are You Reading?

Welcome to It’s Monday!  What Are You Reading!  This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I love being a part of this and I hope you do too!  As part of this weekly meme I love to encourage you all to go and visit the others participating in this meme.  I offer a weekly contest for those who visit 10 or more of the Monday Meme participants and leave a comment telling me how many you visited.  **You do not have to have a blog to participate! You receive one entry for every 10 comments, just come back here and tell me how many in the comment area.

**I will choose last weeks winner when I get back in to town tomorrow afternoon 🙂

So…. I hope everyone’s Labor Day weekend was wonderful.  I have spent mine with wonderful friends and my hubby at our cabin up North.  We have had great food, conversation, laughter, exploring, and a campfire, and a birthday celebration.  While through out this morning and afternoon they have all trickled back home, I am staying through tonight, enjoying a little R and R and reflecting back on a wonderful summer.  I will post more about this on Tuesday.

AND since I am currently sitting at a picnic table in Silver Bay Minnesota writing this post as I do not have internet service at the cabin I am going to keep this brief as I need to get in to the store I came into town for before it closes. 😀

As far as reading has gone, it has been a great weekend fr that.  I have read three books (I was here two days before company came so have had some GOOD book time, I plan to read another book yet tonight and by the time I finish driving home tomorrow I will have an audio book in as well.  Since I am not near my books I am not really sure what I am reading this week, but I will be reading.  😀  I do miss this good reading time that I was able to experience this weekend.

Please add your Its Monday What ARe You Reading tot he link below and check out what others have read this past week and are planning to read this week.  I should get some time to visit when I return home tomorrow.  When posting what you have been reading on Facebook, please add the hashtag:  #IMWAYR

  1. Wonderful weekend for you! It is the same in my neck of the woods. I just began listening to Gold by Chris Cleeve and it was so good that I actually cleaned the pool so I could continue listening! I am glued to the pages of The 500 by Matthew Quirk.

  2. Sounds like you are having a great weekend. These three day weekends go so fast! It’s been both relaxing and productive for me.

Enjoy the rest of the holiday!

  3. Weekend in a cabin sounds about perfect. Very idyllic and relaxing to be among friends and family. 🙂 I’m still struggling to find some ‘book time’ for me too. 🙂

  4. I finished Code Name Verity on audio (it was really awesome) and started Daughter of Smoke and Bone. I finished reading A Storm of Swords and started Throne of Glass. I am very happy with my weekend reading/listening adventures!

  5. Your weekend at the cabin sounds just wonderful!! Very relaxing.

I am still reading 11/22/63 – SO GOOD!! I hope to indulge in this gray, rainy day and finish it today.

  6. Sounds like you had a lovely weekend, Sheila! Safe travels back home! I can’t wait for Fall to meander its way down to Texas – I can think so much better when the weather is cool! 🙂 Happy Reading!

  7. I think I’d probably read more if I got away from the Internet. I hope to read more now that Camp NaNo is done and the heatwave is history… I would love to wallow in words on the page I didn’t put there myself

  8. That sounds like a terrific weekend! I’m hoping to get more reading done. Been in a bit of a rut lately. I posted my It’s Monday! What are you reading? in the Linky Tools list. Love your blog! 🙂

Hmmmm... what do you think?
