It’s Monday What Are You Reading?

Welcome to It’s Monday!  What Are You Reading!  This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I love being a part of this and I hope you do too!  As part of this weekly meme I love to encourage you all to go and visit the others participating in this meme.  I offer a weekly contest for those who visit 10 or more of the Monday Meme participants and leave a comment telling me how many you visited.  **You do not have to have a blog to participate! You receive one entry for every 10 comments, just come back here and tell me how many in the comment area.

This past weeks winner:

I had a 50 mile bike ride today in ST Joseph Minnesota and I am seriously wiped out so this will be short and hopefully sweet today!  😀

Book Endings we Love and Hate (or just hate)

  1. I loved Rebecca when I read it last year – I hope you enjoy it. Seems like it’s the time of year to re-read John Green, I’m re-reading Paper Towns right now 🙂

  2. I liked The Fault in Our Stars but haven’t listened to the audio book yet. I can’t remember if I read Rebecca. I know I watched the movie in my detective fiction class in college. I want to read the Meryl Streep Movie Club. I haven’t watched most of the movies mentioned but that might be an incentive to do so!

  3. I just got the movie Rebecca from Netflix. I love the book and have read it several times, so I hope the movie does it justice! Enjoy your week!

  4. I have The Fault In Our Stars … I’m blaming you Sheila, now I have to bump it to the top of my list lol. Sounds like you have a fun week planned, enjoy and happy reading 🙂

    1. Yes, you do have to bump it up Sheree 🙂 Enjoy although I do wish you had it on audio 🙂
Next weekend should be a lot of fun – I am really looking forward to it… 4 days and counting 😉

    1. Thanks Crystal, our run benefits the homeless.I have an AIDS ride the first weekend of August -always a great ride! I am so excited by the Color Run (first time) and doing it with my college son.

  5. I’ve been seeing a lot about those Color Runs – hope you have fun doing it! I wish I was a runner, but my bad knees keep me from it.

Enjoy your books this week and have fun at the cabin!

  6. John Green…some I like, some are just okay for me. I LOVE his vlog tho. and I like him. Let me know what you think of Looking for Alaska.
    Rebecca is a good one.

  7. I’ve been wanting to read Rebecca for a while – one of the hosts of a book podcast I listen to, The Readers, is always saying it is his all-time favorite book! I will have to check this out.

And I am dying to read both The Fault in Our Stars and Looking for Alaska. I recently read my first-ever John Green novel, An Abundance of Katherines, and enjoyed it, but I’ve heard these two are his best.

Enjoy your busy week, your books, and especially your time at the cabin!

    Sue

  8. I’m picking up so many new titles ever since I started participating in this meme. Have fun at your book club and at your cabin. My book club meets this Saturday. I visited ten sites. By the way, did you get my email with my book pick for the win a few weeks ago?

  9. I hope you enjoy Rebecca, it’s still one of my favorite books from school! I have The Fault In Our Stars here, really must bump it up the pile as so many people have loved it.
