Rebecca Read-A-Long June 12 – July 17

Confession – Rebecca is a book I have never read, have wanted to for some time now and am going to do it in the next month.

If you are interested in doing this read a long with me it is open to those who have not read it before, and to those who feel they may be due for a re-read.

Then… on July 17 here, we are going to have a “Party with Rebecca party” ! You will have a chance to link your reviews and there will be an online book discussion here, as well as giveaways!

Want in?

Please grab the button above and either 1) write a post with the “woo hoo” I am going to do this read a long!  or 2) add this button to your sidebar or 3) both!

Please fill out this form if you are planning on participating:

  1. Fun! I read (listened, actually) to Rebecca for the first time last fall, but it definitely won’t be the last! Enjoy!

  2. I heard Rebecca on audio in april 2011, and I am not about to read it again now. But I will eagerly follow the progress. Happy reading!

  3. I actually bought Rebecca a few months ago, because I want to reread it. I’m still thinking about whether or not I can do a readalong….I’ll have to consider some things…lol

  4. I read this last year or I would be joining in. Loved it. Hope you guys have a great time!

    • Thanks Ryan – maybe catch you next time around… I have to look at the Secret Garden post… seems like you made a suggestion of a book you would be interested in doing a read a long with…

      • It was either Heidi or Black Beauty, both of which I have languishing on my shelves. I will be back to see what everyone has to say about Rebecca.

  5. Ooh, I love Rebecca…but this is right in the middle of a group-read I’m hosting so I don’t think I can commit on this one. I look forward to reading what everyone else thinks, though!

  6. Oh, this is so lucky! My in-person book group is reading Rebecca now and discussing it at the end of the month. So I\’m definitely in for the concurrent read-along as well! Thanks for hosting!

  7. This book has been on my to-read list for … oh… most of my life! No more excuses, I’m in. I’ll be listening to the audiobook.

  9. I’m late to the party, but I’m jumping in! A dear friend of mine gave me a copy of Rebecca last year for Christmas. It is her favorite book, which her mother gave to her when she was young. Her mom passed away last week and as a tribute, I promised her I would read it.

  10. Looking forward to the chat! I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve read the book over the years. And nothing can hold a candle to the black-and-white movie with Laurence Olivier and Joan Fontaine.
