Morning Meanderings… Sunday Something…

Good morning.  I have just a few minutes this morning as I have an early commitment.  For all of you who did the read-a-thon yesterday, how much fun was that?  I had a blast even with a few things in my day that pulled me away.  I made it to hour 18 and then it was literally light out for me.  I was done – kupoot…. I wanted to do more… I could not.

I will gather totals later – probably Tuesday morning as tomorrow is all Monday What Are You Reading and I try hard to keep Mondays clear for that purpose alone.

Anyhoo…. I would love to hear if you participated how did you do?  What did you read?  What did you love?  What was the best part of the read-a-thon for you?

I am out… but I wanted to leave you with this….

This was my cover made up for one of the mini challenges….. below is the actual cover…  and yes, that is ET….. he was my stand in.  😛

LOL…. have a sweet day!  😀

  1. Love your cover! Awesome job. I’m sad I didn’t get to participate more in the readathon this year, but here’s looking towards October!

    1. I hope in October I can actually have a day without commitments Trisha 🙂 This time I was running around between the charity auction and a 6 pm gathering and dinner out…. as soon as I know the October date Ii am going to block it off with barricades 😀

  2. Great cover…I didn’t participate, because of other commitments, but I did spend several hours in the morning reading and finished a 466 page book (Sing you Home, by Jodi Picoult). Loved it!

    Have a good day!

  3. That cover is hilarious! My favorite part of the readathon is the mini-challenges. This was the first readathon in a couple of years that I didn’t participate in at all (I’ve done the reading, cheering and hosting a mini challenge). Hopefully I’ll have more time for the next one.

  4. Love your cover! I participated in the read-a-thon with my 15 year old son, Sam. We had a blast. My favorite book was The Violets of March by Sara Jio–due out in June, I think. Lovely little book!
    *smiles*
