Good morning. I have just a few minutes this morning as I have an early commitment. For all of you who did the read-a-thon yesterday, how much fun was that? I had a blast even with a few things in my day that pulled me away. I made it to hour 18 and then it was literally light out for me. I was done – kupoot…. I wanted to do more… I could not.
I will gather totals later – probably Tuesday morning as tomorrow is all Monday What Are You Reading and I try hard to keep Mondays clear for that purpose alone.
Anyhoo…. I would love to hear if you participated how did you do? What did you read? What did you love? What was the best part of the read-a-thon for you?
I am out… but I wanted to leave you with this….
This was my cover made up for one of the mini challenges….. below is the actual cover… and yes, that is ET….. he was my stand in. 😛
LOL…. have a sweet day! 😀

Love your cover! Awesome job. I’m sad I didn’t get to participate more in the readathon this year, but here’s looking towards October!
I hope in October I can actually have a day without commitments Trisha 🙂 This time I was running around between the charity auction and a 6 pm gathering and dinner out…. as soon as I know the October date Ii am going to block it off with barricades 😀
Great cover…I didn’t participate, because of other commitments, but I did spend several hours in the morning reading and finished a 466 page book (Sing you Home, by Jodi Picoult). Loved it!
Have a good day!
You did awesome Laurel – I need to read that one yet! I did look to see if you were participating and figured you were busy doing life 😀
Nice cover copy! Love that you used ET. :p
LOL – I was in a hurry and I thought his head would fit in my hat…. I wish I would have had more time to tweak it a big but I didn’t…. ahhh well…. I laughed when it was done.
I think it’s great the way it is, no further tweaking necessary. 😀
You’re in trouble now – every author is going to want you on their cover!
LOL – probably not me…. but I bet ET will have them waiting in line….. 😛
That is such a funny cover, Sheila. I love it 🙂 I’m glad you had a great Read-a-thon; I did too!
Thanks Kim – I did…. the whole day while busy – was really an awesome day!
That cover is hilarious! My favorite part of the readathon is the mini-challenges. This was the first readathon in a couple of years that I didn’t participate in at all (I’ve done the reading, cheering and hosting a mini challenge). Hopefully I’ll have more time for the next one.
I love the mini challenges too – it is so fun to see what people come up with!
That cover is SO funny! You are hilarious. 😀 Hope you enjoyed the read-a-thon. I know I did!
LOL…. ET – he is my hero!
Love your cover! I participated in the read-a-thon with my 15 year old son, Sam. We had a blast. My favorite book was The Violets of March by Sara Jio–due out in June, I think. Lovely little book!
*smiles*
Thanks Kim! 🙂 The Violets Of March huh? I willcheck it out 😉
Haha! Thanks for the laugh! I love that cover!
LOL – sure 😛
