Good morning!
Do you ever have those nights where you just toss and turn and feel like you never really slept?
I just had one of those. Until about 3:30 a.m. I am rolling around the bed, this way and that… my mind on some sort of mental caffeine rush. I am processing Christmas, the gifts, what is left to do, plans for the weekend, my kids, my life, work out schedules, eating habits…
(I really should have just got up and done something really productive like clean a closet or crochet a quilt)
ANYWAY… the inevitable thing with nights like this is that I usually crash in the deep sleep around 4 a.m. only to awaken 2 hours later knowing that I have to get up.
GAH.
All that said, I do feel pretty good and I am ready to rush off to work and have an awesome day as tomorrow – Friday, I am off.
WOO HOO!!! Perfect timing to prep for Saturday and the weekend… which I will talk more about tomorrow.

That’s kind of what my night was like last night, too.
Hope you are able to rest a bit today Hannah to make up for the loss of sleep. 🙂 I suspect that later today I will crash. 😀
I hope you’re able to sleep soundly tonight!!! 😀
Thanks Staci, I do not have to get up early so if I struggle with sleep I can shill a bit later than usual 🙂
I’ve definitely had nights like that! I think it’s the craziness / excitement / stress of the holidays, for sure. I have a hard time stilling my mind enough to sleep a lot these days. That’s when my books help. 🙂
It was ridiculous Meg as I am really not stressed out… at least I do not think I am 🙂
Oh, I definitely do have nights like that…and the only solution for me is to do something. Sometimes just reading a book is enough to calm me down.
But I have been known to get up and do laundry or clean the bathroom!
Hope you sleep better tonight!
Reading would have been awesome Laurel but since I had to work in the morning I wanted to really get a good nights sleep 🙂
Hope you get a better nights sleep tonight, Wishing you a very Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Donna thank you and Merry Christmas to you and yours too 🙂
I had that kind of night too — I wish you great sleep and wonderful dreams tonight! xoxo
Rebecca – it must be the time of year, Hannah says she had the same night…. 🙂
The same thing has happened to me for the past couple of nights! I hope you were able to have a better night’s sleep last night (Thursday).
Have a beautiful Christmas Eve!
I did Christina – I had some Ambien left over from my Honduras trip and I took one and was out like a light…. slept all the way to 7:30 am this morning!
I sure have had a few of those kind of nights myself. I usually end up watching a movie on TV and finally getting to sleep like you about 2 hours before the alarm is going to go off!
Toss & turn nights are no fun. Crossword puzzles usually do it for me. Also jigsaw puzzles. I know, kind of geeky, but they do make me sleepy after awhile.
