Good morning! Sipping the coffee this morning, writing a post, and heading out the door by 8 am….
ahhh….. it’s good to be back.
Yesterday I went up town one time… to pick up a few groceries and to the book store to pick up my book club read that is up for discussion on Tuesday, The Christmas Sweater by Glenn Beck. The rest of the day I sat in the recliner downstairs with my laptop doing a little blog reading and watching LOST episodes one after another.
When LOST was on TV I never felt caught up. If I missed an episode I would be wondering why someone who had previously died or been missing, was now walking around the show set like all was right with the world. The flash forwards, flash backs, and the occasion flash sideways had me feeling….. well….. uhhhhhh……
lost.
So I stopped watching the shows and decided that I would take this winter to go through them all starting right from Season one episode one. And that is what I am doing.
We had a moment in Honduras when as we trudged through some jungle like territory to view a water system that would bring water to people who previously did not have it, I thought that we were on the set of LOST.
See:
Anyway… today I hope to watch more LOST, do a little laundry and relax some more as tomorrow…. it is full steam ahead. Later today I hope to share a recipe with you that will make your mouth water and possibly a review as well if I can get my act together.
Any fun Sunday plans?

Welcome back! Loved seeing your pictures during the trip – hope we get more!
Thanks Jill! yes, as I get organized here there will be more pictures 🙂
Hope you have the exact day you are hoping for!
Thanks Rebecca…. currently curled up with a blanket and a book so far so good 🙂
Oh, you’re right about the photo looking like the set of LOST!
It’s always hard to transition back into “normal life” after such mind-altering adventures. It’s like you were plunged into another reality and now your actual reality seems…unreal.
Hope you enjoy your day.
I did a Sunday Salon post here:

Laurel that is so true. I didnt work all week with the same kids like I usually do when I go there so it wasnt as emotionally intense, but still zapped my energy.
Fun picture! I’ve thought about watching lost, but never gotten really far with it. It seems like such an investment! But it’s good, right?
It is good Kim, but definitely one you need to keep your eyes on to follow all the “happenings”.
Sheila, glad to hear that you are back-I was rather concerned for you driving from the airport with all the weather in Minnesota. That is pretty funny that we were both off playing with the animals.
Thanks Esme, the weather actually wasnt too bad when we landed, the snow was hitting MNPLS around midnight and we were on the road by 11 am and out of the worst of it.
Lost is such a wonderful show. I watched the whole series on DVD (made it even better). Have fun!
That’s what i am doing Trisha, I have the first three seasons on DVD then I will have to go out and purchase… or hint for Christmas 🙂
Any plans for today went straight out of the window when my brother & niece turned up… So most of the day was spent entertaining a 13 month old!
However, the Christmas decorations are now up and I even managed a quick review of the Christmas book I’ve been reading.
GAH! Hope you have a great day anyway Nikki-ann! 😀
Welcome back! Since its so stinkin cold out, this will be a good closet cleaning day!
Thanks 😀
Oh man be careful – LOST is so addictive you won’t want to step away! 🙂
LOL – too late Amused!
Hello – I’m following you from another blog hop and thought I’d say hi! I also wanted to say Welcome Back!
Sunday – all I did today (after I dug myself out from the snowstorm yesterday) is bake 3 loaves of Cranberry Orange bread. I also need to make up some salted nut rolls for the cookie exchange on Tuesday at work.
Have a wonderful week!

Making salted nut rolls!!!! OH YUM!!!
I never did watch Lost. There are some shows you really need to watch from the first episode all the way through. Had a feeling Lost was one of them. I caught an episode or two of Fringe and decided it was one of those that has to be followed from the first.
Enjoy your “Lostfest.”
Thats what I am doing Pat, I tried watching it when it was on tv and I would miss a couple episodes and get confused…. now I am watching it episode by episode 😀
I love LOST! Hope you enjoyed your LOST marathon!
Thanks Kathleen – I really am 😀
A Lost-a-thon! Brilliant idea! I’d like to do this with the new Sherlock Holmes series on public TV.
