Choose The Next Book I Read And Win This Book For Yourself!

This is the third time I have run this giveaway and the first two were quite successful.  These books are from our spring library sale.  They are all gently used, lovely books that if I didn’t have a little push from my reading friends…. they would sit in the box I brought them home in for a long, long time.

This is where you come in.  Leave me a comment here letting me know which book you would love to have for yourself.  I will choose a winner using Random.Org next Wednesday.  Then that book will rise to  the top of my TBR and as soon as I can fit it in, I will read it and then pass it on my winner.

It’s fun and easy – and a win – win!

I have cleaned up the pictures from last time and these three pictures consist of the current books to choose from:

There they are!  Have fun choosing and good luck!

  1. Ugh, the photos are blank white boxes so I will have to come back later and try again. 🙂 Internet-screwiness? Let’s see if it will even accept this comment.

  2. LIFE’S A BEACH and BETWEEN SISTERS both look pretty good to me! I’ve also had THE ROBBER BRIDE by Margaret Atwood highly recommended to me, although I’ve only just started reading it myself and haven’t reeeally got into it.

I reckon try LIFE’S A BEACH, just for the title. 🙂

(And I’m international so you don’t need to enter me in the giveaway… just giving my two cents. 🙂

  3. What a great idea.

For myself: I choose that you push to the top of TBR pile – Year of Wonders.

But…For You…I choose The Thief. I just finished that book last week and thought it was a fabulous middle-grade read! I am looking forward to read the next book in the trilogy.

    Have fun!

  4. How about Vision in White? Nora Roberts is always so much fun to read and I haven’t read that one yet. Thank you for making it easy to comment on your blog…some are quite difficult.

  5. I gotta go with Claire Cooks’ “Life’s A Beach” just because it screams to me that it must be read over the summer!

  6. Oh, there are so many good choices!!! It is so hard for me to pick between good books, but it is so fun to try!!! I will go with Between Sisters By Kristin Hannah. I have another one of her books on my TBR shelf and it would be fun to read them together! Thanks for the opportunity.

  7. I choose The Best of Friends by Joanna Trolloppe(?)

The preview sounds great and thanks

  8. I think your next book should be Life’s A Beach by Claire Cook. I read Seven Year Switch by Claire and I loved it! I think this looks like a great summer read! I think some fun flip flops are in order when you read it!

  9. I think I would choose “Please stop laughing at me”. I have no idea what this book is about, but I find the title very intriguing… I wonder if it’s a serious book about a person with a problem? Or if it’s a funny book about something silly?? I would sure like to find out!

  10. I mean “please.” I’m in the car on my way from St. Louis to St Charles, Illinois, for the Corvette show and it’s hard to type when my husband drives the way he does..lol

  11. I’d have to pick The Robber Bride by Margaret Atwood – haven’t read that one! Actually, I have lots of Atwood to catch up on 😉

  12. I would love to read The Year of Wonders by Geraldine Winters. I like the cover but couldn’t read all of the title so I checked it out and the review sounded great.

  13. Wow…such great choices. I would choose either “Life’s A Beach” (’cause I’m on vacation at the Outer Banks, NC and heading off to the beach momentarily) or “Fat Girl” (’cause that’s how I feel in my bathing suit…ha ha!).

Thanks for the opportunity to win!

  14. I choose “Year of Wonders” by Geraldine Brooks. It sounds like a wonderful book and it’s written by a great author!

Thai is a wonderful idea for a giveaway!
    Thank you!

  15. You and others have raved about the Adriana Trigani books, that that is the one I would like to win.
    Thanks

  16. I would like for you to read Barbara Walter’s book, “Audition,” since her books are discussed so much on “The View.”

    Thanks.

  17. Read Private by James Patterson. I always did like Nora Roberts so I’ll pick one of those two novels.

  18. I would like to win Truth and Beauty. But you should read The Robber Bride soon, because Margaret Atwood is my favorite author. She is amazing.

  19. i’ve never read any Atwood and have been curious about her work, so i would say The Robber Bride.

i love this idea, btw. it’s such a fun way to give a book away (and have us decide what to read for you). win-win indeed.

  20. Wow, so many excellent choices!!!!!!! I am going to have to narrow it down and pick: The Queen of the Big Time by Adriana Trigiani. I loved her Stone Gap Trilogy.

  21. Cool contest! These are a great selection of books, many of which I’ve read. Two that I haven’t read and would love are Between Sisters and The Best of Friends. Happy Friday!

  22. I would love to have ‘Dance Upon the Air’ by Nora Roberts. It’s been a long time since I’ve had the pleasure of reading one of her books. Thanks!

  23. Between Sisters by Kristin Hannah, because it is one of the books I have on my list to read this summer that I have not already purchased.

Happy Reading. This is my first time here and I love your blog-I could stay here for hours just reading(and of course not get ay writing done, lol)

  24. Having read and enjoyed several Margaret Atwood books, I’d love a copy of The Robber Bride. I don’t know if this giveaway is international or not but I live in hope.

  25. I think you should read Year of Wonders by Geraldine Brooks. People of the Book was really good and I’d love to read more of Brooks work, if you would be so kind as to pass it on to me. 🙂 Thank you. What a generous thing to do.

  26. My vote is for THE CLUB DUMAS by Arturo Perez-Reverte. It combines a good mystery with literary figures. How could I not want to read it?

  27. I am going to pick The Thief. I loved Between Sisters, Year of Wonders by G. Brooks and Kitchen Privileges. You have really good piles for that amt. of money. I’m sticking with The Thief.

Love this game. No one loses.

  28. High Tea in Mosul looks like a fascinating book. Stories based in other cultures always interest me. Thanks for the fun giveaway!

  29. I would love to read “Life’s a Beach” – All of us have had our bumps during our journey through life. I have a feeling that the title says it all

  30. Hi there! I have heard a bit about Kristin Hannah’s books so I would choose her title – Between Sisters. Happy Reading! Just started following you and am looking forward to catching up!
