  1. I am excited to hear about her next book…it sounds great! And how interesting that she was denied as a contestant on Wheel of Fortune…I didn’t know they did that!

  2. I would love to read this book! And the next one, too! I loved hearing Sarah talk about how important our work is as book bloggers. Nice to know someone is listening!

  3. From the interview with the author, I learned that she was rejected as a competitor for the Wheel of Fortune but didn’t know why. This is really interesting to me because my cousin applied for Jeopardy and was rejected because he was too tall!

  4. My hubby too was rejected from being a contestant on wheel of fortune and only got one chance to call out a letter. Awwww.

  5. Her next book is based in DC – I live in Maryland so that’s my back yard! Great giveaway! Thanks!

  6. I liked the shout-out to book bloggers. It’s neat to hear from an author that it’s an effective way to get the word out about books!

  7. i am an email subscriber
i enjoyed hearing of why she offered such a generous contest to bloggers

  8. This was a terrific chat you had with Sarah Pekannen, thank you to both of you! I enjoyed several things about your chat including that Sarah takes her coffee the same way I do….& it’s delicious like dessert as Sarah said! I am thrilled to findout that she is writing another book! And I also loved finding out that she is great at puzzles and almost got on Wheel of Fortune! Personally, I think she was too smart for them! lol I think Sarah sounds like a very nice person and it’s great that you had the opportunity to meet her, Sheila.
Please enter me in this great giveaway!

  9. I enjoyed Sarah’s comment “Like a dessert” in reference to how she takes her coffee. I’ve been on her website before with the candy bars and donuts, so I’m not suprised. She is to cute! I loved the book! Since my hometown is the DC area, I enjoyed the references she made to certain areas I remember going to.

  10. I had already friended Sarah on Facebook when I bought her book the day it came out. She graciously accepted my friendship.

  11. What a great author chat! I really enjoyed hearing about the birth of the contest you won, how she goes about refining her story (changing the amt of sisters) and I’m really excited to hear about her next novel! Thanks for the chance to win Opposite Of Me, I can’t wait to read it.

  12. After reading your chat with Sarah, now I really want to
read her story about the fraternal twins (my mom was
    a triplet), and her acknowledgment…
    Many thanks, Cindi

  13. I was really surprised to read how much she liked “In Her Shoes”–I was so disappointed with that one! Maybe if I hadn’t seen the movie first, I would have liked the book better because they were really a lot different.

    I’m follower!

  14. I loved her little known fact about how she didn’t make it onto Wheel of Fortune. That was too funny. I ‘d love to be entered!

  15. I love all of the promotion you have given this book! What I especially enjoyed about the chat was what she wrote about her new book, and also about The Opposite of Me. They both sound great.

  16. I liked the Skipping the beat plot. I also like how she takes her coffee, same as me:) and I thinks its neat that authors and publishers are grateful to book bloggers out there:)

  17. I think it is great she likes puzzles and almost made it on Wheel of Fortune. My husband almost made it one time as well. Please include me in your giveaway.

  18. OPPOSITE OF ME sounds like it will be an interesting read. I look forward to reading this book and really like the sound of her next one. Thank you both for the giveaway.

The plot for her next book sounds fascinating. And it was amusing to hear that she was rejected for Wheel of Fortune!

  20. It is really exciting to read about her next book. I’m eager to read it as well.
