It’s Monday! What Are You Reading, is where we gather to share what we have read this past week and what we plan to read this week. It is a great way to network with other bloggers, see some wonderful blogs, and put new titles on your reading list.
I love being a part of this and I hope you do too! 🙂 As part of this weekly meme I love to encourage you all to go and visit the others participating in this meme. I offer a weekly contest for those who visit 10 or more of the Monday Meme participants and leave a comment. You receive one entry for every 10 comments, just come back here and tell me how many in the comment area.

Thank you thank you! I just remembered that I had blog-hopped last week!
Hex Hall is on my TBR! Enjoy it, will wait to read your review!
Hi ATHS! Congratulations 😉
I’m interested to see how read-a-thon goes, too. I’ll be cheering folks on. Hex Hall is showing up a lot lately. Happy reading.
I fell into the Hex hall fever Susan…. I am excited to read it. 🙂
Hex Hall looks great! I just added it to my TBR pile based on that cover alone!
Have a great week 🙂 I forgot about the readathon and booked stuff over it, but I hope to at least participate in some way.
I hope you can participate too Crystal!
Congratulations to Aths! Awesome week! I signed up for the 12×12 and I am very excited and hope I can meet my goals. I enjoyed The Bride Collector. It looks as though you have a delightful week of reading lined-up. Enjoy.
I think so Jennifer. Seems like other books always sneak in the mix but I hope to get through these I have listed here 🙂
I’m still not sure about the Readathon — this is my last weekend before going to Lao for the New Year holiday and it happens to be Bike Week in Phuket with some big goings-on over on the other side of the island. Maybe I’ll just do a few hours….
Anyway, the Michael Sullivan books look interesting.
My books read are here.
Mark – if you are biking you can listen to audio – I have confirmed that is an ok thing to do 🙂
I hope you will join for awhile!
Well goodness, I wasn’t even thinking about the read-a-thon when I made my post. I have some shorter books set aside for that. Your books look great. I’m really looking forward to reading Hex Hall.
I didn’t put all my readathon plans on this post – just the ones that may run over into it 🙂 You never know with me though – I may scrap the whole thing and choose all different reads 🙂
I want to read both Hex Hall and Fabelhaven 🙂 Have a great reading week, Sheila!
Ladybug – Fabelhaven has waited so long for me that it is embarrassing. I wanted to read the second it came to my house…. and that was months ago.

I really hope you enjoy Hex Hall. I thought it was cute and hope Hawkins continues the series. I have signed up for the 12X12 challenge and also the Dewey Read-a-Thon. This will be a very busy week . Have a good one.
You are right Jan! I am part of the lining up of the Mini Challenges for the readathon and it is a lot of work to organize them, watch for duplicates…
Have a great week 🙂
I just read Hex Hall this week and really enjoyed it. Of course A Fiddler’s Gun is on it’s way to me in the mail and I cannot WAIT to read it.
Enjoy your week!
Oh good Hannah – I hope you love it!
I hope you have a great week in books. Hex Hall looks really cute!
I don’t know what it is about the book Kathy but I am drawn to it. I think I am sensing a little bit of the harry Potter magic…. that always draws me.
You were busy last week!!! I brought home Fablehaven for the Read-a-thon on Saturday!!
Staci- you and I seem to read a lot of like books 🙂 That is so cool!
Wow, you’ve got some great books lined-up. At least I’ve heard they’re great & they’re on my reading list 😉

Woe Laurel – you are moving today! I am just getting into my first cup of coffee.
Have a great week! We leave for vacation next Saturday so I will not be able to participate in the weekend events but will try to click through a few times.
I finishing Look Again, and Anna Karenina part 3 today… I need something light to read this week before starting The last summer of Louisa May Scott, Not sure what to pick yet…
Mari – I am thinking about doing the on line book group with 100 Cupboards. The idea just came to me moments ago so it is fresh in my head – but I think it will be light. 🙂 Welcome to join in !
Your week was filled with great reading!! I’m going to read Fablehaven for the RAT this weekend!!
Thats fun Staci – maybe we will be reading it together 🙂
Sheila, I just finished visiting number twenty! Now I have a few things to do, but I’ll be back!
You go Laurel…. I have visited ….. one. But I’m picking up speed now as soon as I get more coffee in me 🙂
You got a LOT of reading done this week! Can’t wait to see what you think of Hex Hall.. is one of the books on my TBR list!
Me too Allison!
Morning Sheila!!
Good morning Bluestocking! 🙂
I love Trigiani too. I haven’t read Very Valentine yet. Don’t know why. I loved her Big Stone Gap series. I need to read the third and last one of the series. I think it’s the last. Not sure.
Tea, I have heard good things about The Stone Gap series. 🙂
1. Nice week ahead!
2. Congrats Aths 🙂 Whoot whoot!

Tales of Whimsy.com 🙂
Thanks for stopping by Juju 🙂
I am dying to read Hex Hall, but haven’t had a chance. Too many other committments. I hope you are enjoying the Sullivan books.
I’m off to go visit some blogs.
I really am enjoying the Sullivan books Stephanie – just lack of time that is slowing me down 🙂
That’s amazing what you’ve read! I do miss reading, though with a toddler, I imagine my days lost in books won’t return for some years. I do have a gardening book on my nightstand that I peruse each night, as well as A Thousand Splendid Suns that someone gave me and I’m trying to finally get through it.
Enjoy Kathleen the time with the little one 🙂 Been there! Now I take my reading any way I can get it. I have recently got into audio books and they have been wonderful for road trips and biking with my IPOD.
Fablehaven looks like a interesting series I hope to check it out. I hope you have a wonderful week…
Thanks Heidi – you too 🙂
Have a great reading week. Hope the readathon goes well. I’m still trying to plan my books for it!
Tasha – I have an idea of what books but it will probably all change whenthe day comes 🙂
Sheila, I visited 20 blogs today (my husband is out of town…lol) I really do enjoy visiting the blogs, not just to win prizes from you. Hee hee. It’s fun seeing what everyone is reading and I love when I see books on others’ blogs that I myself have read. Like you saw on mine! I can’t believe you read Jantsen’s Gift! Oh my gosh, I absolutely positively loved it. How one woman can make such a difference in so many children’s lives…I mean, she puts Oprah to shame!
Lynne – wasn’t that a great book! The author Pam Cope called me and we did a phone interview. She is just as wonderful in person! We talked for an hour. Her interview with me is on my right sidebar if you would like to check it out. I gushed about the book 🙂
Headed to your sidebar now! Woo hoo!
Lynne, I think you will enjoy it 🙂
Just finished my thirtieth one, Sheila! I’ll be back later.
LOL Laurel… see you later 🙂
Can’t wait for the read-a-thon this weekend. I have some shorter books in mind-it’s better for myself esteem. LOL! Have a fabulous week!
Me too Tammy, I have a few first in series books I want to see if I will enjoy 🙂
I’ve seen Fablehaven a couple of places lately. I think it might be one my daughter would enjoy.
Carol I think it looks fantastic and I think there are a couple books that follow it now.
I’ve been wanting to read Hex Hall for a while now. Hope you enjoy it and good luck with your read-a-thon!
I have visited 10 other blogs today 🙂
Thanks Chrissie 🙂
Sheila,
I have given you a much deserved award. Please stop by my blog and pick it up. http://dollycas.blogspot.com/
Lori aka dollycas
Hi Lori – I will pop over 🙂
I loved your review of the Bride Collector. I really want to read that one. The Fiddler’s Gun sounds like a fantastic book too.
I hope you enjoy your reading this week.
Thanks Christina – they are both wonderful books!
I visited 10 new sites – totally stoked. And I am absolutely adding Hex Hall to my TBR list! Thanks for the great meme. It was a lot of fun. I plan to be back next week.
Oh good Outnumbered Mama – that is really what I like most about this meme. Networking with others, seeing great layouts of blogs and picking up book titles for our own reads 🙂
Hi again! And as always, thank you so much for hosting this meme. I just love it!
nancy
Thanks NancyO – you made me smile 🙂
I hope you enjoy the first book in the Fablehaven series as much as I did! I’m waiting for my turn at the library for book 5 that was just released.
I think I might have to jump on the Hex Hall band wagon. I keep seeing good reviews!
Page – book 5??? Oh wow – I didn’t know there was that many out! Is that the last one then? I will have major catching up to do 🙂
I think it’s going to be the last one, at least the title points me in that direction. I guess I’ll have to read it to find out if it leaves me hanging!
Well. I better get started then 🙂
Just finished number 40, Sheila…I’m putting this aside for now, but I’ll visit some more either tonight or tomorrow.
Laurel you just astound me!
I want to read some Trigiani, but haven’t had the chance yet. I am looking forward the Valentine books.
Oh good Nicole – she is just a wonderful author!
I hear Fablehaven is really good and I can’t wait to read Hex Hall. Here’s my list this week:
http://fangirlsview.blogspot.com/2010/04/what-are-you-reading-mondays-april-5th.html
Fantasylover – I think it is going to be good! 🙂
Thanks for the meme!!!!
Here is mine!!! Thanks for the meme!!
Yay – thanks for joinig in Celtic Lady 🙂
I am really looking forward to your reviews on Michael Sullivans series. I hope you are liking them. Each book just keeps getting better and better. I am looking forward to your review on Hex Halls as well. It looks really good. Have a great week!
I am enjoying them Michelle – its all the other books that keep interrupting – LOL. They are coming along great though. I want to post my reviews one after another so I am trying to get them read first!
I am very interested in reading Fiddler’s Gun, I must remember to put it on my list for a very soon read.
I have Hex Hall sitting on my piano, it is not screaming out at me to read soooo…it is pushed down on my tbr list, for now.
Fablehaven looks good; will be interested to see what you think.
I am late to adding my link, and wow!! There are a lot of participants. I hope I can get to at least 10, shall see.
ibeeeg, how you got a quiet Hex Hall I will never know…. mine is shouting for me to read it 🙂
I think this weekly Monday posting sounds like a fun, I am giving this a try and hopefully will push me into reading more novels and networking with other bloggers/readers…
Here’s my list from last week and this week:
http://reading2learn101.blogspot.com/2010/04/its-monday-what-are-your-reading.html
Oh good Natalie – it really does connect you to others and you will have so much fun seeing their blogs too.
Hey Sheila!
I was able to visit and comment on 10 blog sites. As always a big thank you for hosting this awesome meme!
Tammy thanks for participating – it is all of you who make this fun 🙂
Oooh, enjoy the Riyria Revelations series! (Michael J. Sullivan’s books.) Make sure to get your hands on The Emerald Storm, too. That should be available in about a week or two – it’s EXCELLENT! 😀
Oh yeah – I need to get my reviews up in time for that release – thanks for the reminder Heather!
You’re really on a fantasy kick!
I kind of am Lisa! 🙂 I think I just needed some action reads 🙂
Must admit, Hex Hall is one I want to read too. I just finished Cougar Club by Susan McBride, and liked it.
Hi Julianne, I seen Cougar Club around – glad to hear you enjoyed it 🙂
Okay, I’m back, Sheila, having just finished my number 50. Whew! Time for a break. LOL
Laurel – I am not pointing any fingers…. but you are funny! LOL
I can’t imagine being able to read that many books in a week. My friend is a speed reader and can do it. I’m so jealous.
We listened to FABLEHAVEN and really enjoyed it. My one grandson is on book 3 now. My other grandson loved it too, but he is dyslexic and lust looking at the size of the book discourages him. I checked into getting the other’s on CD (we checked book 1 out at the library), but they are over $40 each. I’ll have to check the other libraries in the area to see if they have any.
HEX HALL looks good.
I just finished THE WIDOW and THE ANGEL by Carla Neggers. THE MIST is next in that series. I’ll pick it up next time I’m at the library. I started reading Stephenie Meyer’s ECLIPSE and realized I’d already finished it. I have BREAKING DAWN and will start that one tomorrow. I have a Christine Feehan calling me as well as a couple historical fictions. Not sure what I’ll pick up next.
I am optimistic Pat! LOL – The Sullivan books have been on my list for three weeks now… I like to plan big but getting it all done is rare. I usually read another book in the mix…. not sure how that happens… 😀
