What a really good weekend. I put my best time management forward and was able to not only accomplish household opportunities (laundry, dishes, dusting, sweeping…. ) and a housewarming party Saturday evening, but I was able to put in a lot of effort into the Bloggiesta. The result is a cleaner and updated blog that stands before you today.
A moment of silence please….
Ok! One of my favorite things to do during the Bloggiesta is to visit all the participants. This is not a requirement or even a suggestion… this is just my own personal thing. Like an unofficial cheerleader who donned the outfit from someone’s unattended locker and off I went! I just love to see the blog layouts and what every one else is working on for the challenge. Granted it added to my own list… but that’s ok.
So as I leave you this morning while Coffee Cup and I head off to the gym (groan!) I ask how your weekend went. Anything fun? Were you part of the Bloggiesta?
I was not part of it, but next time I plan to be! Lots of great work got done this weekend.
Thanks Lydia – it is such a great event, I hope you are able to join next time.
I wasn’t there for the bloggiesta due to other commitments but when I checked my Greader today I saw what fun it was. So I used the good advice on all your blogs and cleaned up somethings on my blog. Even made a cheat sheet 🙂
Oh good Shweta! You can always go in and learn from the mini challenges. I get so much out of them. 🙂
I wasn’t part of the Bloggiesta but I did get a couple of posts ready for this week and completed a couple of book reviews. Sounds like you had fun though so I think I will have to consider this for next time.
Thanks Jo Jo I hope you do it next time!
I managed to visit a handful of other Bloggiesta participants, but you’ve inspired me to visit even more! I’m using the Mr Linky on Natasha’s site to visit everyone who left a link, and have found several new blogs to follow! May take me awhile, but think I’ll eventually get to everyone,. 🙂
Oh good Alexia – it is a lot of fun!
This was my first time out, and I must say that I learned a lot—still a lot more to learn, though!—but I plan to keep working on some of the things I didn’t get done…things I hadn’t put on my list.
I’d also like to go to everyone’s links and see their wrap-up posts. That way I get to see their blogs, too.
Like you, I love visiting blogs! My problem, however, is that if I added all the ones I enjoy to my list, it would require pages and pages…you get the picture!
I like how you link to blogs you’ve visited when you’re doing a post. That’s how I can visit something without it being on my list.
Thanks Laurel. I am glad you participated and enjoyed it. 🙂
The comment is definitely appreciated! I love visiting blogs too, it’s nice to pay comments forward!!
Thanks April 🙂
Well done on being so organised. I could do with someone like you coming and organising me.
LOL Vivienne…. to visit your neck of the world? I will do it 🙂
Anything fun over the weekend… Well, we decided to splurg and went to the movies. My son and I convinced my husband (his dad) to go see Avatar. He was surprised with it, because he actually liked it. LOL! If he would just listen to us from the beginning… I have to say I loved the colors and the connection to the world the inhabitants had. Amazing!
I loved it too Melissa and I didnt think I would. Glad you all enjoyed it!
I was not going to participate and then got drawn in. I feel that I have learned alot and there is still more to do.
Oh I am glad you did Esme… it is a lot of fun even if you dont have a lot of time to spend on it there is always something to learn.
You are Wonder Woman!
🙂
I love the video. I’ll not let my husband see it. It hits too close to home. I have never watched the Gilmore Girls, I need to. Didn’t get much done this past weekend. There is so much to do, I’m overwhelmed again.
LOL Pat! Oh I hate that overwhelmed feeling…much like the way I feel this morning when I have procrastinated on everything I need to have ready for book club tonight!
I agree about visiting. That is my favorite thing…looking at improvements and admiring the changes.
I love the blog some of these things myself 🙂
