Happy Sunday! I had to connect here real quick to show you what came in yesterday’s mail. The Next Wife is Author Kaira Rouda’s books that will be available to the public May of 2021. These two copies here were part of a giveaway we offered at Wine and Words this year. These delicious copies arrived in my mailbox yesterday and while I am super excited to hold them…. alas they are for the two winners, and not me. 😀
I first experienced this author in 2018 with her book, Best Day Ever. It reminded me a bit of You by Caroline Kepnes that I listened to 2016 (not a creep-tastic Netflix series) I adored both crazy books and was in awe in both cases that they were written by women as the main protagonist in both is a very deranged man.
Have you read either of these books? What books are you looking forward to in 2020? I would love to know!
I have read Best Day Ever, so I will definitely add The Next Wife to my list.
I like the bookish backdrop in your photo.
That’s part of my library Laurel…. one wall of many lol
I really enjoyed Best Day Ever and will look forward to The Next Wife. Thanks for the heads up! One book I can’t wait to read it Susan Meissner’s The Nature of Fragile Things (Feb 2021). Historical Fiction about the San Francisco earthquake of 1906.
I read and totally enjoyed Best Day Ever! Will definitely add the Next Wife to my tbr list!! You are always my go-to for a next good read!! P.S. Love your library!!
