Happy Sunday! I am in go mode – so much to do to prepare to be gone much of November. If you missed my post earlier this week, I just found out this week that after I get back from my Florida trip with my College Son (Oct 30 – Nov 3), I will be leaving again on the 4th – 20th, back to Florida to work with the bees. I have much to prepare in my home and for the trip…. today, once back in Brainerd I will be focusing on prepping for the time away by preparing meals hubby can heat up.
On another more zen like note, I am hosting a Harry Potter Re-Read to get us through the winter months. Check out the post!
Here is what came in this week:
Choose Your Own Autobiography by Neil Patrick Harris (audio)
A Walk To Remember by Nicholas Sparks (audio)
Winter Street by Elin Hilderbrand (audio)
Confessions by James Patterson (audio)
Food, A Love Story by Jim Gaffigan (audio)
The After House by Michael Phillip Cash
Must run for now. Enjoy your Sunday!
It looks like you’ve got some great listening ahead of you!
I think so too!
Wow, Sheila, I didn’t realize your timing on the two trips! I guess you’re coming home to catch up and see hubby for that one day?! I hope you have a big freezer to freeze meals for him. It’s something I grew up having and I can’t imagine NOT having one—EVER! Safe traveling!!!
That’s exactly why I am coming home for a day… or a partial day. I did not plan on the two trips being so close together and trying hard not to over whelmed by that. I do not like to be gone that long from home either. I do have a freezer that I can put stuff in. 🙂
I am hoping to read Winter Street…all of my books by Hilderbrand have been summer reads…it’s time to see the settings in winter. Enjoy!
I have this one in book format but have not wanted to read it until “the season” 😀
Have fun!
Thank you!
Have a fun trip! I liked your tags on your book stack. 🙂
Thank you! I was just messing around this morning 😀
I’ve got Winter Street at the top of the list for the Ho-Ho-Ho read-a-thon coming up in a couple weeks. Hope you enjoy your time in the south!
I have a little pile of Christmas type reads as well… just waiting…. 🙂
I am reading Harry Potter with my daughter right now. It will be second time reading it but I lost momentum after book 5 when I read themony own.
think you should have joined in with us… you and your daughter 😀
Lucky you. spending so much time in warm states! I am considering the Harry Potter reread, but my sister and I just did that last year and so I’m not sure if I am quite ready for it again.
I will be working hard so I am hoping it is “lucky me” 🙂
Winter Street is catching my eye.
ENJOY your trips. I want to be you. LOL!!
Elizabeth
I will post pictures of what I am dong, then we will see if you want to be me 😉
I have the Gaffigan book on my list to read. He’s always good for a chuckle or twenty!
Right? I think he will be in great in the car when I drive to the cities on Wednesday evening.
Busy, busy … as a bee (yes, I had to say it). Great audios ahead!
LOL
Back to back trips sounds like a busy schedule and cooking ready to eat meals too! I hope you enjoy your time in Fla.
Thanks Pat!
Working with bees?! That sounds interesting!
It really is 😀
Wait the Choose Your Own Autobiography is in audio? How does that work? I just got in print and love it but I love Neil Patrick Harris so I’m a bit biased. The rest of your books sound great too. I’ve really enjoyed the Laura Childs I’ve read but it’s been awhile since I’ve picked up any of her books. Sounds like you’ve got some fun trips coming up!
He must change it up a bit for the audio. At the end of each chapter he will say “If you want to hear more about the oscars… stay tuned…. if you are wanting more about Doogie, that’s next!” stuff like that. It doesn’t skip around. I wanted to listen to it as he narrates it. I enjoy him too.
