Good morning and happy Saturday! I am popping in early because I am meeting my cousin at the gym this morning for Group Power. I haven’t been to this class since June of 2012 () and I am long over due to get back into it… and a little excited to do it.
For this mornings “Saturday Snapshot” post I thought it would be fun to share some pics from the Iceman 5K I completed a couple of weeks back. First event of 2013 and I am ready for more.

The event was a lot of fun, of course I always enjoy hanging out with Amy doing something crazy events. 😛
Pop on over to Alyce’s Saturday Snapshot for more people sharing photos of their life 😀
Oh, and stop in to my Team Kickin It blog where I am featuring a healthy (and delicious) recipe for Beth Fish Reads Weekend Cooking.
That looks like it was a lot of fun! Have a good weekend and keep warm 🙂
It was fun. I am not a big fan of winter or the cold so it takes a lot to get me out there… this was worth it.
You do have a lot of fun….the photos are great! Thanks for sharing….
If I want to work out, I have to keep it fun or I lose interest 😀
Looks like fun … but brrrrr!
It wasn’t too bad, we were actually warm until we had to carry a piece of wood through an obstacle course of ropes. The wood put a chill in my arms and stayed there for the rest of the event.
Thanks for stopping by and visiting. If you liked the Atomic Museum you might like the Mob Museum in Vegas

OOH thanks for the link, I am going to have to check that out!
so glad I found you again. I changed my email adress and lost a lot of contacts. Just re-followed you and hoping all will be sorted now 🙂
YAY! Glad you are back and you found me!
Great pics!! Looks like a lot of fun!
Sue
Thanks Sue, it was 😀
That looks like a ton of fun for those that love the snow! Unfortunately I spent about 10 years in Niagara Falls, Canada growing up. Sometimes the winter was so cold the falls froze over … that kind of killed my enthusiasm!
And thanks for stopping by my place too 🙂
I don’t love the snow but I try to find things to do outside to kind of force myself to get out there. 😛 Being in Minnesota snow .. is inevitable. 😀
P.S. Like the new seasonal header 🙂
Sue
Thanks, I am trying to leave the layout alone because I lOVE it… but thought maybe seasonally I could change up color and header.
You are very athletic! I think I’ll stick to walking! My Snapshot is at http://goo.gl/GVIbC
LOL 😀
I like to try new adventures 😀
Looks like you had a lot of fun there.
We did 😀
Not sure about racing in such cold weather but you ladies look like you were definitely having fun!
We “fast walked” most of it. We didnt want to slip in the snow.
We did at that 😀
You do do the most amazing events!!
What’s next I wonder!
Next is the “Get Lucky” run on March 16th. a 7k. I really need to train 😀
Looks like such fun.
THANKS for sharing.

Sure 🙂
That does look like a crazy event, but it also looks like you had a lot of fun!
We did Alyce!
that Iceman event definitely looks chilly, but also a whole lot of fun! Book Savvy Babe
Thankfully it wasnt too overly cold that day – neither Amy or I like the cold 🙂
OOOOOOOOOOOOOO cold.
Mmmmmm hmmmmm 😀
That looks AWESOME! You are such a bad ass! I think I would have a panic attack in the Ice tunnel.
LOL, once you break a bone doing these events you are hooked for life! 😀
Impressive♫ Keep up the great pace….happy week-end♥
Thanks and happy weekend to you too 🙂
What an extraordinary event! I’ve never heard of anything like that before. Well done.
Thanks! It got me outside in the winter and that is no small task 🙂
That looks like a lot of fun!!!! I’m going to try to do my first 5K this year, and I was thinking of doing it in a fun event, like the Color Run or something!
The Color run is a blast! You will have so much fun with it. You should sign up for my 12K Challenge is you have not already 🙂 (Right side bar)
This is EXACTLY what I need! A big run is intimidating but I can do 1K at a time. I signed up!!!
Awesome! We are going to ROCK this!
Great photos and looks like a fun time. Here’s Mine
Thanks 😀
Ice tunnel!? Brrrrrrr. It’s bad enough running over ice but through it, ugh. Hope you had some nice hot chocolate waiting at the end of that run.
Wow, Sheila, you seem so full of energy! I just can’t imagine keeping up with you…I love reading about your adventures!
