Good morning.
Scraping in a little late this morning but had a huge day yesterday – home about 9:30 pm from an event and yeah…. still sick. I may have to suck it up and go to the doctor today. Hate that. 😦
While Summer is my absolute FAVORITE time of the year, fall has really earned my respect. After all… fall to me is a bookish season. It’s like how some of our favorite tv shows return…. good books seem to hit the shelves as well…. and that is always exciting.
So what is coming up in reads?

Awesome right? The Night Circus is the one I am SUPER excited about and I will be reading next week…. (watch for a giveaway copy – also coming with next week…) 😀
Fall also means Banned Books Week and I am planning big things over here at Book Journey so be on the look out…. more on this soon!

I loved The Night Circus…I will be very interested in your thoughts and whether or not you crave caramel corn during your reading of it…lol…
LOL Patty – I love to mix food with my reviews. 😛
You’re right, Fall is exciting for book reading although my work schedule has increased and I am longingly eyeing ALL the books on my bookshelf I am dying to read!
I am craving some serious reading time Laura and hoping that is coming my way this weekend. I am wiped out. 😀
Oooh! You have some great reads up and coming there! I’m trying very hard not to be jealous of The Night Circus and Reamde. Maphead looks like fun too!
I hope you feel better soon!
I am pretty excited about Night Circus – they had me completely sold on it at BEA. 😀
You probably should go to the doctor, especially since it’s a holiday weekend. Feel better soon!
Right! I went today Kathy, he gave me pills for a sinus infection… I hope that does the trick!
I’ve always loved fall…the crispness in the air, the new beginnings, and yes, the returning fall lineup on TV. Great new books don’t hurt, either.
The Night Circus does look tempting.
Hope you feel better soon.
Thanks Laurel… we leave for the weekend tomorrow and I am really wanting to feel better 😉
I’ve heard good things about Night Circus and also Mari from Escape in a Book really rates Daughter of Smoke and Bone so I am keen to hear what you think of that too (don’t think it’s out in the UK yet).
Happy reading! 🙂
I have been excited about the book for months!!! 😀
So many great choices for September. I hope to get to this one as well thos month.
Enjoy your fall reading Diane 😀
Sorry to hear you are sick 😦
Fall is my favorite season for all those reasons AND Halloween. I’d rather be in a cozy sweater, reading a good book or watching a scary movie.
LOL – A Halloween fan huh Michelle? 😛 I have a good friend who also loves Halloween!
do you have a cold? I have a horrible cold. Okay I just realized that I read A Thousand Sisters because it is the Wordshakers book-I was wondering how I had heard about the book. I have not really thought about fall books-I still have a good month of summer and heading to the beach here. Although I have to pay attention on my rides in the eve now because of the light.
I just rolled over to 2,100 miles on the bike for the year.
Something about Night Circus really jumps out at me. Can’t wait to read your review!
