Good Morning!
I am at camp this week…. up early for a bike ride to start my morning before every one else gets up. 😀 I figure I can get in a little exercise this week so brought my bike.
Here is where I need your help. I have made the long list in the 2011 BBAW Awards in the following niche categories:
Best Audiobook Blog
Best Eclectic Book Blog
SSSSQQQUUUEEEEE!!!! Really, thank you, that is exciting 😀
Now I can only move forward in one category. I do LOVE LOVE LOVE audio and promote it to no end here…. but know a few other blogs that are super audio blogs too…. even more so than my own. I know I am an eclectic blog and love to read diverse styles of books. So the questions lies with…. which one do I go forward with?
Please let me know your thoughts and they will be taken into consideration. Just when I think I have chosen…. my head goes the other way…. 😛

As for camp day one…. awesome. I really thought it might be a bit scary, but really….. everyone is soooooo nice. Already I have laughed and cried several times….
Also – on another note….. it is not too late to sign up for a Blogger interview swap for BBAW week. Trust me, this is a lot of fun.

i am not a blogger but as much as i love your blog (look forward to the randomness of the meanderings) i would go with the audio nomination…your passion forit and the sheer number that you listen to (i would be confused with 3 going at once) make it seem like a natural

That’s a tough decision, but I think I’m going to say audiobooks because you do promote them more than most people.

Congrats, Sheila. I don’t think of your blog as an audiobooks blog, but then I don’t listen to audiobooks myself, so if you mention them, I don’t pay particular notice.

Congrats on your making the long list! I’m not sure which you should go with though, I guess the generic response would be, go with the one that feels the most natural fit for where your blog is today. Personally, I think it fits both, so I’m not sure.

Congrats!! That is fantastic! Based on my experiences last year, I think there might be less competition in the audiobook category … there are SO MANY blogs that could be considered eclectic. Best of luck!
