Morning Meanderings…Chicago Recap and A Road Trip

Good Morning!  😀

I fully expected to be on the road by now, sNOOKie and I are road tripping to Barnes and Noble this morning.  Sadly, this really is a road trip as B & N is in St Cloud, about an hour away from me.  I am hoping to get there early enough to talk with the NOOK representative and learn more about my NOOK….

then I just want to browse…  😀

Last week I went to Chicago with three of my friends for a much longer (MUCH LONGER – 10 hours) road trip.  It was a lot of fun and even though the arm cast was a hindrance, I am so glad I went.

For Alyce’s Saturday Snapshot, I bring these pics from the trip:  (go to the snapshot link and join in the fun!)

  1. Those glass protruding whatchamacallits make my palms sweat…no way would you catch me standing on them!

Thanks for sharing the pics! I love reading about other people’s adventures. 😀

  2. I’ve only been to Chicago a couple of times in my life and didn’t get to do sightseeing. However, that being said – no high buildings for me. The pirates would be OK. Thanks for sharing them and good luck with your NOOK.

  3. Sheila what was the boat tour you went on in Chicago? I think Michael would love that. We are heading to Chicago again this summer to visit the in laws. The bus tour is something I would love to do.

sounds like you had a blast.
