Morning Meanderings…. Yes it is still morning somewhere :) And I have NEWS!

Good morning!  😀  I am late but it is still morning here in Minnesota.

Today is my first full day off, no commitment day in over two weeks.  I am beyond giddy and thus the late post.  I slept in… I took my time getting ready for my day…  I had my coffee on the deck and cereal too (I never take time to do this!!!)

The day is gorgeous and as soon as I am done here… I will be out there, book in hand… taking in the rays that I have not yet had time for in 2011.  You will find me:

On the back deck...
On the back deck...

Or…

On the swing in the back yard...
On the swing in the back yard...

Or…

Sitting in a lawn chair by my hostas...

Or…

On the deck swing...

No matter what I choose I am getting some outdoor time!  😛

And as for the news, my awesome friend Alison at Alison’s Book Marks had mentioned the news on Pottermore yesterday and I about sssqqqqquuueeeedddddd with excitement.  Ok…. not “about”…. I did.  😛

  1. First, let me say that any one of those outdoor settings looks fabulous to me…enjoy!

    And Pottermore…what a lovely idea. I just adore hearing J. K. Rowling speak….

Her interview with Oprah awhile back really drew me in….

  2. Nice swings..I would love one like that. I like sitting out when it is not too hot out. We have a pretty koi pond in the backyard.

  3. Sounds like you will have a LOVELY Day! I’ll try not to be jealous as I sit in my inside office not even able to look out at our hot day in sunny Florida.
Yes I have heard a bit about JKRowling’s decision to do it all from her own platform. Looks like fun and it will be interesting to see how it goes.
    Enjoy your day!

    1. Hi Martha – I am so enjoying the R & R. I was going to go to the post office to mail books today but I am thinking now there is a good chance that will not happen until Monday……. I dont want to leave the yard. 😛

  4. You have some lovely reading spots there.
I have been trying to get a tranquil feeling in my garden this summer.

It is getting there. If I sit and look to one corner, I can see my lovely new fence and planters, but if I turn just a little I see the washing on the line and my lovely 3yr old causing havoc 😉

    have a good weekend.
