Good Morning.
Today is an other crazy day and when I went to bed last night my agenda was something like this:
Get up and get ready at 6:30 am
write a morning post
have COFFEE
hit the gym group power class at 8 am
Make signs for the banquet tonight
Come home – prep what I am going to wear tonight – get it in the car
Find the bag of pens
tan
meet my cousin
drive to Breezy Point and set up Missions Banquet for 4 hours (silent auction, tables…)
serve at the banquet
clean up
home around 9 pm tonight
CRASH
…
Instead, last night I had the best sleep I have had in a long time. I actually slept through the night without checking the clock every hour or so. I woke up feeling good, and not pressured. And instead of all that early running I had planned… I made coffee, grabbed my laptop, propped up pillows, and went back to bed.
I think I am instead of running to do it all today… I am going to relax a bit this morning. Have my coffee… finish a book. And then I will go make the signs, tan (maybe), and head up to Breezy. I really like the sound of that.

Great ideas! I like that kind of day and wonder why I don’t do that more often? Can’t remember the last time I did.
But the other day, I got this nifty little tray at Bed, Bath, & Beyond…it can be a breakfast tray, or you can lift it up and put your laptop there.
Sound good? Hope you have a great, relaxing day. We need to recharge our batteries now and then.
I have to tell myself to “stop” sometimes Laurel…. I fully planned on being wiped out tomorrow (Saturday) because of today’s event but maybe if I pace myself a bit that does not have to be the case 🙂
Sounds like a good change!
I just had to slow down… a bit 😉
Even you need that sometimes, eh? 🙂
Yes…… a lot …..LOL 😛
Doesn’t seem like a lot from here. 😀 As good as your Saturday went, though (from the sound of it), that just validates your choice here all the more.
Glad to hear you’re stopping the mad rush for a while this morning. Everyone needs that occasionally.
I think it will pay off for the rest of the days plan Barbara 🙂
If I was reading this yesterday I would have been asking about silent auctions. Today, having finished reading The Help this morning (I know its one of your favourite reads), I don’t have to.
Anyway, best wishes for a great week-end, good luck with the banquet.
Oh yeah…. LOL… 😀
Glad you had a good night’s rest! I hope your silent auction goes well and that the event is stress free. Have a great day, Sheila!
thanks Christina 🙂
Good for you, Sheila! Enjoy your relaxing day….
Thanks Julie…. I just had a couple hour break but I think it was a better plan than running all morning 😉
Sounds like if all goes to plan you will be having a very nice relaxing day – have fun 😀
Thanks 🙂
I’m jealous of that good night’s sleep!
I am afraid it was not natural…. I took an Ambein I had left over from my Honduras prescription… it does work though. 🙂
Oh how I love good sleeping nights! I am desperately in need of one 🙂
I was too Rebecca… 🙂
Sounds like a plan. Hope you enjoyed the morning.
Thanks Carol 🙂
Sounds like a plan!
Thanks Kathleen!
Good for you…crawling back under the covers and reading with a flashlight is the way to spend a busy Friday morning…have fun tonight!!! And don’t forget to tan…it will make you glow…I hope you are getting spray tanned…
OOH – I didnt have a flashlight…..LOL
No spray tan…. sorry…..
nothing beats a great night’s sleep 🙂
I agree Marie I felt so good this morning!
Tanning is bad and ages you! But it is a free country…right now.
I know I know…. but I like a little color 🙂
