Good Morning!
Yesterday turned out to be a pretty good day. I read a bit and did a little house cleaning. After dinner I went up town to visit my friend Barb who was in town for a few days. I graduated with Barb and she now lives out-of-state. We try to get together when she is back in Minnesota. It was fun catching up with her.
Then when I came home Al and I watched the movie Serious Moonlight with Meg Ryan and Tim Hutton. I enjoy both actors and the movie was good but the end made me wonder what just happened. I wont go into detail so as not to ruin it for anyone who has not seen it, but I actually Googled it to see if my hunch was right. It was.
Today I am hoping to go rollerblading or biking with my friend Wendy but not really sure if that is going to happen. The weather looks uncertain and last night it stormed a bit so I imagine the trail is covered with sticks and debris. Its early yet – I guess I will see what the day brings.

Oh, sounds like a you had a great day! I’m happy for you.
Thanks Hannah – I did and Sunday is shaping up to be a gorgeous sunny one!
I’m glad it’s a *little* bit cooler here today than it was yesterday; but sunny here as well!
love the top and the jewelry!
i tried riding my bike after a storm one time…parts of the trail had been washed away!
Oh wow Diana! We usually just find a lot of debris on the trail, kind of hard to rollerblade safely on 🙂
I am glad to hear you ended up having a nice Saturday-I rode 30 miles only to flat again-my third flat on a brand new bike-obviously there is something going on with the rim.
My bike guy tells me if you keep popping tires then there is something sharp inside the rim that is hitting the tube. You should take it in Esme and have it looked at.
Happy Sunday to you too! 🙂
Hi Nikki-ann! Thank you 🙂
It’s so nice to catch up with old friends. My friend from college is coming down for a five night stay next week. I am so looking forwarding to it. I hope you get outside today – enjoy!
Thanks Jill – the day actually turned out to be a beauty. I am currently sitting on my deck in a HOT sun. LOVING it.
Oh, that movie sounds intriguing…I haven’t seen this one, so I’m going over to check it out…
Have a great Sunday. I’m planning to watch DVDs and read.
Laurel let me know what you think – it is pretty cute but the ending surprised me a bit in a good way.
Hope the storms weren’t too bad and you can get out today.
Have missed reading your site. Have been desperately, and vainly trying to get my house squared away for my sister and her husband who come this week. Exactly when I’m not sure. They will only be here overnight, but I still needed to dig a path to the bedroom for them.. I have been trying to get to much of this for months and just haven’t managed. I won’t be done, but I will have made a pretty good start. There is so much that needs to be sorted and given to various charities. We have taken several truck and car loads and still have more to go. It doesn’t help that we ended up with most of three other households plus all my work materials. Once I get rid of what I don’t want, I’ll have to start seriously looking at what is left and part with a whole lot more. I know I’ll be happier when I do.
Pat you have some busy things going on there! Wow! Enjoy your company and chat when you can 🙂 There’s always an open chair over here. 😀
I hope you had a wonderful day and that you dodged the storms on Friday night. I heard they were awful – several co-workers were trying to fly out of town and they had to evacuate the terminals to some place more protective against tornadoes.
Can I just say that I want to be your friend? You have such wonderful get-togethers with your friends! It is absolutely wonderful to see someone taking the time to enjoy friends and the great outdoors.
Michelle we didnt get too much for storms here.
LOL you can be my friend Michelle 🙂 I dont have a lot of extended family and really value my friendships. 🙂
So great that you two have kept that friendship going!! We’ve been having storms off and on throughout last night and today..in fact, a tornado touched down not far from us!!!
Staci storms everywhere! Wow – glad you didn’t get hit!
