    Besides this one, I also really want to read The Last Time They Met. I ordered it at Paperback Swap, but it never arrived. 😦

  32. I’ve heard of all of her books at one point or another, and there is something that interests me about each one. The Pilot’s Wife, of course, but also Testimony and Body Surfing and Resistance. There are quite a few. This one sounds especially great.

  55. I have read and enjoyed so many of Anita Shreve’s books and would love to win Change of Altitude, because reviews indicate that this one is “different” than her others. It may show growth in writing in a new setting, but with Shreve’s age-old themes of emotion and sympathy toward others, unforgettable characters and her unique writing style. I loved Weight of Water for its introspection into the protagonist’s own marriage, Where or When for its suspense between despair and hope, Pilot’s Wife for its exploration of self-doubt, Eden Close for small-town emotions and interactions and All He Ever wanted for its intersecting stories of obsession.
