It’s Monday!  What Are You Reading, is where we gather to share what we have read this past week and what we plan to read this week.  It is a great way to network with other bloggers, see some wonderful blogs, and put new titles on your reading list.

What’s on brew this week?

This week I leave Thursday morning for Florida to see Navy son for the weekend.  That means a hectic next few days – but I should be able to make up reading time on the plane.  🙂

  10. I put up my Monday post. If I had more energy I’d put up pictures of everything, but I spent my weekend allowance of energy on my granddaughter. Fun! Back to reading now…

    Sand in My Bra – the title really reaches out to you doens’t it?

    And Hasta La Vista Baby – sounds like a very funny and good book. I remember reading something about it a while ago.

    1. Bluestocking – I know they are working on improving it currently. When I set it up last might it was under maintenance and they are changing the name. I am hoping it works for the links today.

  32. Looks like some great books read last week, Sheila! I’ll have to try the read-a-thon one of these days. We just returned from a 10-day road trip to Louisiana for spring break, so not a whole lot of reading time (I get car sick if I read in the car!), but we listened to some good audio books.

  35. The Girls from Ames sounds like a great read. I love personal stories, and that is why I am recommending “I Promised You Daisies” by Robert A. Benjamin. It really inspired me about the gifts within us, and if you’re a mom with a gifted child then you’ll especially enjoy this book.

  46. I hope you enjoy the Girls from Ames. I read it some months ago with my book club and found it to be a really heartwarming story that celebrates friendship. It made me reconnect with a good friend from high school that I had fallen out of touch in recent years. I’ll be looking forward to hearing what you think of it.

  50. This is my first week to participate…I love the idea! As a reading teacher, I generally only read books appropriate for my students or teaching books. I’m not sure if that will be “newsworthy” for most people. But again, I do love the idea of sharing, planning and posting!
