Did anyone else pick up on the fact that is was April Fools Day yesterday? I knew it was April 1st, but much like St Patricks Day I didnt really consider the holiday.
Never fear…. Brett who works in the office with me did not forget. In fact, I am pretty sure he was looking forward to April 1st. Take a look here at the office I walked into yesterday morning:
Foiled again! Well… not again, really first time. 🙂
So this morning I am off to the gym, have a couple meetings, possibly a bike ride if the weather looks good and then hopefully home with book in later afternoon. Later today I will post my April Challenge – what I will be doing this month. If you haven’t looked at this challenge yet, I hope you do and I hope you consider joining me.
Tomorrow I help sort the Mini Challenge Hosts for the Readathon on April 10th. If you are out of the loop on this, jump in the loop! Here is the link to the readathon info, and here is the link to sign up to be a Mini Challenge Host.

For an April Fool’s joke, it was actually pretty nice. He did a great job!
Totally got me Darcy! I didnt even see that one coming.
Nice how he wrapped everything up for you! LOL
I’m planning to do more reading…our nice weather seems to have gone bye-bye for now, so it’s curl up and read!
Just posted my review of House Rules at http://laurel-rain-outonalimb.blogspot.com/
HI Laurel – weather is turning her too. It started out sunny and warm and now it is windy and gloomy. I am doing a little bloggy stuff then reading 🙂
That’s a lot of foil!
Hilarious – thank you for sharing =]
It is a lot of foil Alanna 🙂
Good One! He did a nice job and it was fun. Too often they are not nice jokes.
My son-in-law is a postal carrier. Yesterday morning when the carriers showed up for work, they were told there was a 30 minute training video they all had to watch before sorting mail. Everyone groaned (as most work videos, no one was looking forward ton another long one) and settled in to watch. The video started as all Postal videos do, then the postmaster’s head popped into the shot with a big grin and “April Fools. Get to work and enjoy the day.”
Will be checking out the Challenge and the Readathon.
Enjoy the day!
That is a good one Pat! I have a plan to get even….. I will post it when I have accomplished it 🙂
I did forget until a friend of mine pulled a really good one on me. I could have just strangled her LOL
Felicia I am usually on top of stuff like that too….. I have been so busy lately I didn’t even think of it. 🙂
Wow! He went to a lot of work!! Thats to funny. Foiled again, LOL!
It was just another day for us. Nothing out of the ordinary happened. blah blah
The office is still foiled Natalie – I only took down what I needed to use like the phone, rolodex, and in box. 🙂
You’ll have to check out my My Sheila inspired post for today.
Hi Lynne – ooohhhhh… what could it be? Coming over…
I love it! My vote is for Brett to wear the April Fool crown until someone can top that!!
My weekend plans are to go out on our boat tomorrow, Sunday to Church and then have some friends over for some spaghetti, salad, texas toast and card games!
Sounds like a fun weekend Vicki! Anything involving a boat should be fun! 🙂
Nothing much going on here. Weather is not “boat worthy”. Today I have a nice afternoon of quite, AL and I will do something tonight but not sure what yet….
Saturday no plan during the day except working out – maybe watch Blindside in the evening…. Sunday church, brunch, and roller blading with 19 year old son 🙂
At my husbands work they have done the following to cubicles when people go out of town for a week or more:
filled it with balloons and closed it off w/ saran wrap
Put all of the boxes of Costco food in a cubicle
covered in fake cobwebs
covered in post-it notes
taped an office door shut
replaced everything in someone’s office with a post-it note with the word of what was supposed to be there written on it.
And because they’re tech people, you don’t even want to know the sort of computer hijinks that go on for April Fool’s.
That is so fantastic Jt 🙂 You will see my “respose” later this week on the blog. Oh I do have a plan!
