Morning Meanderings…

Good morning! You ever have one of those days that just seems to click everything together correctly?

Yeah…. me neither…..

Ok just kidding, when I finally did motivate myself yesterday things did go pretty well. All my returns for the weekend home show were accepted very graciously (I had to return 25 pounds of brats, 43 pounds of hotdogs and 87 packages of hot dog buns). I never dreamed they would take it all back but the fact is the home show traffic was down this year considerably. We had pretty decent weather over the weekend and I am sure that contributed to it.

Anyway – from there I went to the library, back home, and then had some afternoon time to relax and read The Fiddler’s Gun which I am enjoying.

I finally put my bike on the back of my Durango so I can get air in the tires and hope fully go for a ride this afternoon after work. That appeals to me immensely – I am less than a month out now from the first big ride of the year.

We ordered pizza last night and that was the last of eating like that for a while as now I need to go into training mode.

Ok – but bookish topics are a plenty. First of all do not forget the Readathon on April 10th. Reading baby! And now all the links are up so know you can be a participant and sign up today, you can also be a Cheerleader, and we still need Mini Challenge Hosts (which is part of my team so I would love it if you would consider having one!)

Also, I see Natasha has posted the New York Times best Sellers List which I always enjoy going through and seeing what I have read and what I havent.

Also…. while hanging around the water cooler on Twitter this morning I heard that it is Dreadlock Girls Birthday.  Pop over to her blog and wish her a happy one.  🙂

So that’s my morning meandering.  I have a full day that I added to by sleeping later than I should have this morning and missing my morning workout.  Now I need to fit that in somewhere later today.

Whats your Tuesday like?

  1. Yeah, I haven’t any of such day either 🙂

Anyway, I really want to participate in the Read-a-thon but I don’t know how it will go with an infant in the house. I will still give it a go.

    • Oh Lilly give it a try. I bet maybe you could do books on audio too 🙂 (The library should have some good ones!) I would love to see you participate – however long you could 🙂

  2. I am achieving very little today if that helps! Have a good one.

  3. I hope to read Fiddler’s Gun in the next couple weeks; glad to hear you’re enjoying it (I’m not surprised, though).

We have to get another paper to the bank today so we can buy our house as scheduled.

    • I hope all the paperwork goes smoothly Hannah. Buying a house can be a nerve racking time but also exciting! I hope your experience is more of the latter. 😀

      • I think we’re a bit too exhausted to be excited about the prospect of moving, but we’re definitely looking forward to it being over. 😀

  4. I am SO ready for the read-a-thon! Whooppeee

  5. I slept later today (6 a.m.), primarily because I woke up around 12:30 last night and watched my recording of Damages! Now I have a few others recorded from last night, too (Castle, for one).

Monday nights are kind of like that.

Last night, before I went to bed, I posted my Teaser Tuesdays at Potpourri (

I need to do a workout, too; after I wake up!

    • Oh Laurel I was going to do the 5:45 Group Cycle class today and slept until 6:30. GAH! I am going to take my bike out this afternoon and hit the trail! It is time ;D

  6. I started to think for a while there every day was to be one of those days where nothing blended or connected very well. 🙂 Days are getting better the further we get into the new year. Okay, so it’s not to new anymore. But the days are starting to iron themselves out better. But, there is always those days around. Have a great day!
