Good morning! Still here, still in Florida – and now two of my cousins are here Jarrod and Rob so that is cool! 🙂 No big plan for today, I have a couple reviews to write and later tonight Al and I will probably go try out a different restaurant. He loves that…
Yesterday I found a link to this site called BookCloseouts.com. There are a few good reads if you are willing to dig a little and they are priced no higher than 1.99.
Right now I am in serious need of coffee so I am off to say good morning to the Coffee Pot!

Ooooh.. Book Closeouts! You shouldn’t have told me about that, but I’m glad you did.
Have a fun day with the family today!
Laura
Laura I had to take others down with me…LOL I just went through all 55 pages of their books and wow…. it gave me an idea for a post on how we choose our books.
I’m staying far, far away from that link.
We like trying new restaurants, too.
LOL wordlily!
Yes, me too! Even at 1.99, they can add up fast!
Good morning!!
Laurel it is just so fun to browse!
thanks for this tip on Book Closeouts. I will go searching.
PS I sent you an email yesterday.
Oh good Esme!
Oooh. Man, showing me something like that is dangerous!
I seen it on someone elses blog – just cant remember who’s….
Hey, Sheila…I have an award for you here:

I have to remember to come over Laurel – had a busy day! 🙂
Am not even going to click that link, as seems too dangerous. *L*
I love trying new restaurants too, so hope you guys have fun tonight!
Thanks Alexia – we should. Gaters was fun the other night- that was new to us. Our rule is that when we travel we have to go to restaurants that we never have before.
All of those lazy days–I’ll bet you’re getting a lot of reading done!
I really am Lisa! I have reading time every day and reading in a car doesnt bother me so when we are going somewhere I can still read.
Sounds like my kind of site. I’ll have to check it out.
Hope you have a great weekend :0)
Thanks Natalie!
Ahhh … we’re getting more snow as I speak — we’re expecting several feet or more. I have a bit of Florida envy right now! 🙂 Enjoy your coffee!
Oh snow! 😦 I am not looking forward to going back to that…
Thanks Stephanie – the coffee was good!
I love trying new restaurants when I am traveling…so enjoy! Now I’m of to check out that website.
Me too Jo Jo! We ate at a rib place tonight that was pretty good.
I’m headed to check out this site now! Hope you find a great restaurant, there are tons of them in Orlando!! Three of the best are Jack’s Place Restaurant, House Of Blues and Ciao Italia.
Be warned Vicki – I found a lot of good books… 🙂
I have shopped at Bookcloseouts before and they are pretty good! The prices are great but it does take a great deal of patience to shop there! Sometimes it’s easier if you can search for various authors, hoping to find a book. I’ve always been pleased with their service and shipping.
Julie H – they had that blowout sale and I went through all 55 pages of sale items….. *whew* 🙂
I know have that site bookmarked, Thanks for the headsup!
Oh good Ryan – I linked it right to the bargain page and I found quite a few great looking reads!
Thank you so much for the link to Bargain Books closeouts. I’ll have to get together a list of books we need and order them. Every penny saved means so much.
I am glad Pat that you are able to use it for the library. I found quite a few good titles from that list!
I’m late commenting today, but I just had to let you know that I was on Book Closeouts last night and I did some major digging! Here’s what I got:
Leaving Eden by Ann Chamberlin
Poe & Fanny by by John May
The Rossetti Letter by Christi Phillips
The Year of Disappearances by Susan Hubbard
Farewell, My Queen by Chantal Thomas
All for $1.99 each and the Susan Hubbard was $1.49. They have flat rate shipping for the entire shipment so all five books with shipping and all…$14.00! Pretty exciting! There are some great historical titles here. I remember reading about Poe & Fanny when it first came out and wanted it, but never got it. And the Susan Hubbard book is the sequel to The Society of S. I wish I could remember who had the link on their blog the other day so I could go thank them. Did you find anything you liked?
Those sounds good! I went through all 55 pages of the sale and probably came out with around 20 books… nothing more that 1.99. I think I may have snatched up The Year Of Disappearances as well.
When the order comes know there will be a post on it 🙂
Oh, I have a review to write up here. I am just past half way on my next book. This snow storm really put a cramper in my plans … since no power.
I really hope you are enjoying the nice weather!
Oh Melissa – no power! Thats awful. 😦
