Yes it is another Challenge. But wait! Let me explain! While blog hopping the other day I found my way to Socrate’s Book Reviews and this Challenge is August 15 2009 – August 15 2010. I have actually read and listened on audio to several James Patterson lately so this is a no brainer! It’s not to late! Anyone care to join me?
The challenge is to read at least 10 James Patterson books in a year. You do not need to make a list of what you will read now or, if you want, you can. However, nothing is written in stone and the books you list can be changed at any time. Overlapping books with other challenges is allowed. Stop over at Socrate’s Book Reviews for the challenge link and more details.
Game on:
1. Run For Your Life by James Patterson (audio)
2. The Murder Of King Tut by James Patterson (audio)
3. Swimsuit by James Patterson (audio)

Patterson wrote a great book-Against Medical Advice-about a boy and the who just started rocking one day-and the medical ordeal his family went through-one of the judges lent it to me last year. Yes sometimes I talk books with the judges.
Esme that is a great story! I talk books with…. well…. everyone. 🙂
Good luck with the challenge! I like Patterson, but really wish he would leave poor Alex Cross alone already. Hasn’t the poor man suffered enough? I know he isn’t real, but I want him to finally have a happy ending! 🙂
ALexia other than Patetrsons movies made form his books, I dont think I have read Alex Cross yet. There are quite a few books around this character right?
I am curious how far back I would have to go to catch up on this series.
I really enjoyed Patterson’s Women’s Club mysteries.. but some of his latest ones have been a bit .. brutal for me. Gotta give the guy credit though, he really churns out the books.
I know Lydia – Patterson is like one of those authors who has always been there but I really paid little attention too. Just this past year thanks to Hachette Books I started listening to him on audio – and loving what I have been hearing! he really is everywhere!
How fun! Good luck with it.
Thanks Natalie!
I keep saying that I don’t need to join anymore challenges…I’m tempted to join this one. I love James Patterson! Well, I’m going to have to think about this one…Good luck!
Julie J I Know! Its not like I am out there looking for them! They find me! LOL
Oh my, congrats on a new challenge! I was thinking of doing a YA challenge now. As some of the books on my shelf will fall in the challenge I am doing but as well in the YA challenge. These challenges are so addicting.
Best of luck to you!
Yes Melissa – they are addicting 🙂 If you enjoy YA and I think from your reviews that you do… I would recommend it. I think that is one challenge I will have no trouble completing.
I’m officially welcoming you to the challenge! I’m sorry I haven’t been here sooner, but I had some medical issues and I’m trying to get caught up now. Have fun with this!
Thanks Yvonne 🙂 Sorry to hear about your health. I am so behind already on updating my challenges….. 🙂
