Its Monday… What are you Reading?

This is the weekly meme hosted by J Kayes Blog. I love this because it gives me a chance to walk to the shelves and choose what is up for this week.  I am more successful than not when I plan my reading this way.  🙂  So here is what is on my reading plan for this week:

Yes!  I am currently reading Catching Fire and will be done very soon with it.  After finishing Hunger Games over the weekend there really was no choice, I had to pick this one up next.

Loss Of Carrier is on tour this week and I am almost done with this one as well.

Tirissa and The Necklace of Nulidor is on tour for tomorrow.  This one I have completed.

Thanksgiving at The Inn in is my Thursday read.  I figured this was the perfect week to be reading this book!

Healthy Bread in Five Minutes a Day is hopefully going to be on the Thanksgiving menu here at the DeChantal’s.  I want to review it and bake out of it for Thursday.

This week I completed:

Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins

Wisdom Hunter by Randall Arthur

Too Many Visitors For One little House

Charlie and Mama Kyna

Novel Destinations

The Secret of Joy by Melissa Senate

Marriage 101

So thats what I am reading.  How about you?

  1. I haven’t read a single one of these books but I hope you enjoy them! As for what I’m reading – the same as my In My Mailbox yesterday. All Fired Up, Playing with Fire, Taming the Fire & Intertwined. & I never even noticed the repetition of the word “fire” until now!

    1. HI J Kaye, as close as I can come up with is the Fall of 2010. I think you are smart to do that…. I know I am going to complete Catching Fire and then want to have the third one in hand….. 🙂

    1. I did… it always surprises me Bluestocking, when I put them all in this post. It doesnt seem like that much day to day… but compiled I am like, “wow… I really did complete some books!” 🙂

  2. You really have me interested in this Susan Collins series! Hopefully santa will treat me! 🙂

I just started reading 1984, but I imagine this one will take me most of the week.

    1. Jody, dont pass these books up. It was such a great experience for me. Its not often a book really grabs me… all of me and holds my attention 100 percent. This one did.

  3. I’ll have to stop by for your review of Catching Fire. I read Hunger Games last week, but don’t feel desperate to start Catching Fire right away, but I am curious to see how the story proceeds.

    1. Hi Alissa, I couldnt help myself. I had it, I actually had it before I had Hunger Games. I had to go on… I had to know… what happens when they get home? How did Kitness’s family react to her coming home? What about Gale? What now with Peeta? What about the upcoming tours? Will they ever truly be free again? Uhhh…. yeah…. I have questions… LOL 🙂

  4. I keep hearing great things about Hunger Games and Catching Fire. I have to agree with your review, I would never have picked it up based on the cover, but all the reviews make me want to read it!

  5. Nice website. I enjoy see what other are reading and reading their reviews. I’m just finishing a really great romance book called “Love Tag” by author Peter Shianna. It’s about pride, betrayal and infidelity that in the end celebrates love, courage and hope. I’m really enjoying it! http://www.petershianna.com/books.html

  6. i just learned that the Wisdom Hunter author is releasing a new novel. i saw it on his website, RandallArthur.com. The reviews look impressive. i see he’s also releasing a children’s book
