This is the weekly meme hosted by J Kayes Blog. I love this because it gives me a chance to walk to the shelves and choose what is up for this week. I am more successful than not when I plan my reading this way. 🙂 So here is what is on my reading plan for this week:
Yes! I am currently reading Catching Fire and will be done very soon with it. After finishing Hunger Games over the weekend there really was no choice, I had to pick this one up next.
Loss Of Carrier is on tour this week and I am almost done with this one as well.
Tirissa and The Necklace of Nulidor is on tour for tomorrow. This one I have completed.
Thanksgiving at The Inn in is my Thursday read. I figured this was the perfect week to be reading this book!
Healthy Bread in Five Minutes a Day is hopefully going to be on the Thanksgiving menu here at the DeChantal’s. I want to review it and bake out of it for Thursday.
This week I completed:
Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
Wisdom Hunter by Randall Arthur
Too Many Visitors For One little House
The Secret of Joy by Melissa Senate

Oh, these sound yummy! Pun intended.
My post is here:

LOL Laurel! I will stop over later when I am home – still in the office doing training videos. (YAY!) yeah… that was sarcasm 😉
I haven’t read a single one of these books but I hope you enjoy them! As for what I’m reading – the same as my In My Mailbox yesterday. All Fired Up, Playing with Fire, Taming the Fire & Intertwined. & I never even noticed the repetition of the word “fire” until now!
Hi INCiDeNT! You really are all “fired up”! LOL… couldnt resist! Happy reading!
I really enjoyed Thanksgiving at the Inn. I think you will, too.
I am looking forward to it Lori, it sounds like a good read.
I read about Healthy Bread in Five Minutes a Day over on Bookin With Bingo. I know there is a recipe for pumpkin brioche in there that really sounds wonderful…
rhapsodyinbooks – that sounds so good! YUM! I haven’t dug into it yet to see what i am going to make yet…. probably tonight I’ll have to decide.
You had a great reading week! I just read and reviewed The Hunger Games, too.
When I get home Stephanie I am going to go check out your review of Hunger Games! 🙂
hope you have a great week and Happy Thanksgiving!
Thank you Ruthie – you too!
I think I mentioned I was holding off reading Catching Fire and Hunger Games until the third book is out. Do you know when that will be?
HI J Kaye, as close as I can come up with is the Fall of 2010. I think you are smart to do that…. I know I am going to complete Catching Fire and then want to have the third one in hand….. 🙂
I am now finsihing up a few to start on the Hunger Games… it sound like the book to read…
All the best on your list of books this week..
E.H>
Thanks E.H.! Enjoy Hunger Games!
Oh yes! I hope you read it soon E.H. I would love to hear your thoughts on it!
Catching Fire is a must , after The Hunger Games. I hope you are enjoying it.
I am loving it Vivienne… going to get in a bit more reading tonight too!
Boy, you had a really good week.
Here is mine
I did… it always surprises me Bluestocking, when I put them all in this post. It doesnt seem like that much day to day… but compiled I am like, “wow… I really did complete some books!” 🙂
Wow did you accomplish a lot this pst week! Enjoy your books this week. I like your Thanksgiving selection. My Monday: http://www.rundpinne.com/2009/11/what-are-you-reading-mondays_23.html
Thanks Jennifer, you too! 🙂
You read some great books! I’m always adding to my humongous list LOL! Hope your week goes well.
Me too Natalie…. I just cant turn away from a good looking read! 🙂
You really have me interested in this Susan Collins series! Hopefully santa will treat me! 🙂
I just started reading 1984, but I imagine this one will take me most of the week.
Jody, dont pass these books up. It was such a great experience for me. Its not often a book really grabs me… all of me and holds my attention 100 percent. This one did.
I got the Healthy Bread book too. Not sure if I’ll be able to make anything myself, but I may give it a shot.
I am going to give it a shot too Mary. If there is no pictures in my review of this book you;ll know my cooking wasnt successful…LOL
I’ll have to stop by for your review of Catching Fire. I read Hunger Games last week, but don’t feel desperate to start Catching Fire right away, but I am curious to see how the story proceeds.
Hi Alissa, I couldnt help myself. I had it, I actually had it before I had Hunger Games. I had to go on… I had to know… what happens when they get home? How did Kitness’s family react to her coming home? What about Gale? What now with Peeta? What about the upcoming tours? Will they ever truly be free again? Uhhh…. yeah…. I have questions… LOL 🙂
Quite the list completed this week. And a nice list to be getting into for the holiday week.
Happy Reading!
Hi Melissa! I hope to get ina bit of extra reading over the weekend. I guess we will see. I really have no big plans after Thursday.
I keep hearing great things about Hunger Games and Catching Fire. I have to agree with your review, I would never have picked it up based on the cover, but all the reviews make me want to read it!
Gricel – read it! I really thought it was so well written. If or I should say when you do read it stop back and let me know what you thought. 🙂
Nice website. I enjoy see what other are reading and reading their reviews. I’m just finishing a really great romance book called “Love Tag” by author Peter Shianna. It’s about pride, betrayal and infidelity that in the end celebrates love, courage and hope. I’m really enjoying it! http://www.petershianna.com/books.html
Thanks Betty – the book you are reading sounds good!
Wow, you had a really great reading week! Everyone seems to love The Secret of Joy. I’m really getting curious about that one 🙂
I haven’t read any of these but I intend to read Hunger Games and Catching Fire at some point. Have a great week!
