Having started my serious blogging journey this past June, this was a challenge that I was curious about but was unsure if was a reachable goal at at that time. I still have not sat down and organized my reviews of this year to see where I have landed, but I hope to do that soon. I also need to really organize my Challenges for 2010. 🙂
This one is really an ideal Challenge for me, and really for anyone who reads a lot. You can use this with any other challenge, so for instance, I also signed up for the challenge to read 25 YA reads in 2010. I can include those 25 in this challenge. Interested on knowing more? Welcome to the 100+ Reading Challenge! Funny you should mention organization. It’s the reason I started this challenge. Well, that and I really wanted to read a 100 books. This is a great way to list the books read for the year. 🙂
I hope to keep on top of these much better in 2010 than I have in 09 J Kaye. 🙂
Oh good. I’ll have to sign up for this one again. 🙂
I want to sign up but I am already in 5 challenges 🙂 I will wait and see if I really want to get into another challenge
docshona – sign up! This one works with all the others! They actually fit into this one. 🙂
This sounds good. Like you, Sheila, I’ve only recently joined the blogging community, so starting new challenges on January 1 have a better chance of success!
I agree Laurel – I hope you are in on this one.
Wow, good luck! I must say, that’s a very ambitious challenge, and one I probably wouldn’t be able to do – although I do love to read every chance I get, I just couldn’t do a 100 books! 🙂
I think you should try Nikola….. all books count – you can read some smaller reads. 🙂
You know we read at least 100 books a year, girl! I started my list around June-ish, and I am pushing 200 already…..
This will be a fun challenge!
200! Wow Sharon!
good luck with the challenge! 🙂
Thank you Marie! I am confident for 2010!
I just discovered reading challenges last year and enjoy them … although I bit off a little bit more than I could chew! I’m being a little more cautious this year. I did this one and won’t make 100 books but I did about 20 more than the previous year. I like the challenge as a way to just keep a nice organized list of what I read and in what order. Have fun with it.
Hi Jenners! I like this for organizing as well…. I plan to keep up on it better than I have this past year. I still need to plug my 2009’s into the challenge post to see where I am. 🙂
Still working on the 2009 challenge but don’t think I’ll make it. Will try to do better in 2010 and read more than 100 books for the year. So glad you decided to join this one!
I havent counted mine up yet Alexia561. I am kind of excited to see where I fall on this… I usually average about 60 books a year but since book blogging my reading has really increased.
I joined up again too. I won’t be able to reach the 100 this year, but I’m hoping to get even closer next year!
I signed up for this too. Should be fun to check in from time to time to see where everyone’s at during the year.
Good luck!
I am very optimistic on this Natalie – this will be my first full year of book blogging and I think my reading has increased greatly in the past 6 months. It will be fun to see where we all wind up. 🙂
OK, So i wanted to start a new blog for myself for just my reading, but I havent started one yet…Any ideas what I could do? Where I can start my own blog for reading? And also, I meant o put my myspace blog up for the time being and change it but I accidently put my facebook web address for my blog. So now my name shows up twice on the members list. How can I fix this?
Something tells me you read more than 26 books this year. 🙂
LOL yes – I am so behind on updating my challenges! 😀
