This is hosted by An Adventure in Reading
I just witnessed a murder…. and I am still reeling from it… the girls name was Salmon. Yes, like the fish. Oh but that was her last name. her first name was Susie. Was.
It is December 6, 1973. I just witnessed a murder. And I know who did it.
~ The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold
(audio I started on my drive to book club last night)

I had a diffcult time reading this book. Though very written beautifully I find such topics really hard to read. Took me a week to complete this.
H Shona – I am listening to it on audio and as it began it shocked me and I considered shutting it off…. but I was intrigued and wanted to know what happened….
I so loved this book , in fact I plan to read it again since it’s been a few years, as I need a refresher before the movie comes out next month.
Hi Diane – ooh I forgot that the movie was going to be out in a bit! I will be going to see it!
Oh, I loved that book! Gave me the chills!
I am sick today so I am currently in my reading chair vegging out with my lap top and listening to the audio as my eyes are toot ired to read. It really is chilling Laurel!
I cant wait to hear what you think of this Sheila!
I am listening to it right now Reagan…. it is at times horrifying…..but I want to know…..
Sounds very good! (Although I can’t listen to mysteries in the car when I’m driving at night – it freaks me out too much.)
Great Where are you. I would be spinning if I had witnessed this. Wow… Where do you go? What do you do?
I did the Where are you? this week as well, if you would like to stop by…

When I wrote this post Melissa I had hardly listened to any of the audio – maybe the first 10 minutes…. this is how it pretty much started out. CREEPY! 🙂
