Morning Meanderings…

Is it just me… or is morning coming faster?  Or should I say is it morning or still Twilight?  It is still dark out but I am still due up to get ready for the daily school drop off and then the office.  Today awaits me about 4 hours of mandatory videos on a new program we are rolling our the end of this month so with joy…. I am enjoying my pre-office time with you and Coffee Cup.

This morning I opened an email that kind of made me smile.  Ok… really made me smile.  I just love how movies come up with all the little extras you can purchase.  The great ones have t shirts, notebook covers, board games, pens, pencils… and yes.  Even dolls.

EdwardOk… seriously… this cracked me up a bit.  I don’t know why, obviously it is a good likeness so kudos to Mattel.  yes, there is a Bella too but not as close a resemblance I didn’t think.  Without the Edward doll next to her I am not sure I would know she was Bella.

I just wanted to share this today as I like to share the ones that remember folks – they were books before they were movies!  🙂  HIgh five to Stephanie Meyer.  I am off for now but will be back later for a book review.

I would love to hear if anyone has purchased any other movie related paraphernalia.  We have Harry Potter Scene It

New Moon Board Game

here and Star Wars Monopoly.  Oh yes…. I am so proud.  LOL  🙂

Have a great day everyone!

  1. when i was a teenager, i got on some mailing list for John Hughes movies and would get packages with tshirts, pins, posters, etc., for movies like Sixteen Candles and all those Molly Ringwald-Judd Nelson type films. It was fun. I never bought stuff because my parents didn’t think it was important. We have some Star Wars and Lord of the Rings stuff now- LOTR Trivial Pursuit, some of the figures, etc., but not a lot. Our house is covered in Doctor Who stuff though! 🙂

  2. We have the Harry Potter Scene it also heh. We’d buy T-shirts occasionally or bookmarks stuff like that. Not caring much for the dolls though lol.

  3. Oh yes, we have the Harry Potter Scene It, Nickelodeon Cartoon Scene It. My young son even haw a Harry Potter t-shirt.

We have not bought the dolls yet, but McDonalds, Burger King, and Wendys give little things for the movies and such in the happy meals. We are finally getting away from these but when he was younger we had to keep the toys. huuggh. Those were a pain. Some where cute but most of them where junk toys.

  4. We have Harry Potter Scene It, too, and the Star Wars game of Life. When our boys were younger, they also loved to collect all sorts of action figures – we still have a box of Star Wars figures around somewhere. Also – much younger – they had a cool make-your-own monster set from Monsters, Inc. that they just passed along to their little cousin.

  5. Just stumbled across your blog and love it!

I have a little Sorting Hat that works like a magic 8 ball, a Serenity poster and 2 T-shirts, as well as little Cylon and Six figures from Battlestar Galactica (they have TV movies).

  6. OMG, that cracks me up! I’m not sure why I’m surprised to see it considering all the hype, but still…
It might just be the perfect Christmas gift for the overly obsessed TwiHard, for sure.

I had Stars Wars stuff. Don’t know whatever happened to my R2D2 figurine. It was my fave. I’ve bought my daughter some Wizard of Oz stuff recently, too. She’s a big fan.

  7. As you can see, I am a wee bit behind on my blog commenting…which if you want to get technical is normal for me.

Anyway, I am not one for paraphernalia. Not sure why, but I don’t get into the stuff.
