I have been a Koontz fan for years – this man has a wild imagination, is well written, and best of all has an incredible sense of humor. While I don’t follow all of his books, the Odd series has been a lot of fun to read.

This book is the third in the series, following Odd Thomas, and then Forever Odd. In this book, Odd is now in a monastery and solving crimes at his normal neck breaking speed.
