Good morning early. I am off today to the cities – meeting Dawn at 6:30 in the morning to drive three hours for training all day and then home probably about 8 or 9 pm tonight….
welcome to Tuesday 😛
Yesterday I just felt a little queasy…. actually noticed it Sunday evening after floor hockey and it lingered into Monday…. I went to work hoping it would pass but did not so canceled my evening “to do’s” and stayed home and breathed instead. Guess what? Breathing is GOOD.
However when I made dinner for Al and I, I was making grilled chicken with carrots and broccoli and cauliflower, and then I made a pan of noodles to put the chicken goodness on top – and wound up eating just a plate of noodles and butter. SO BAD. I don’t think I have done that since I was a kid. 😉
I have much to share this week but will not get to it today…. I have a recap coming up on the Girls Weekend/Rick Springfield concert and books I have found in my blog visit adventures…. but that… will wait until later this week.
Noodles and butter….. hmmm….. guilty yummy food.

Noodles and butter is love. Yum! Looking forward to hearing of your exploits Sheila!
a friend down the road in hawaii has two pale golden labradors called butter and noodle. have a good day!
I’m still a big fan of noodles with butter 🙂
I don’t think I’ve ever eaten butter & noodles…apparently I’ve missed something. However, if you add about 12 pounds of cheese and some mystery spices to those noodles to make my Grandpa’s version of mac & cheese….that is my comfort food.
I’ve never really been drawn to noodles in that way; I will admit to preferring proportions = more sauce than pasta, though.
I’m a peanut butter addict, especially on really good bread.
Oh, I love noodles and butter…toss a little parmesan on it, and we’re good!
Yes, you’re bad! LOL
But bad is good once in awhile.
I’m with Lauren on the parmesan cheese! Yum.
I am back from vacation and off the being “bad” wagon! ;o)
Yum! Noodles, butter and parmesan, I eat that at least a few times a month. When I want to eat healthy I use olive oil and garlic instead of the butter & cheese.
Allergy season colliding with cold season is making breathing difficult around here too.
Noodles and butter – sounds delicious.
I hope you’re feeling better!
Rick Springfield? You may have this one already, but I have his book if you are interested.
And btw, I read Open House by Elizabeth Berg a few years ago and loved it. I loved her other books too.
My guilty food is Coffee or rum and raisin flavoured ice cream and hazelnut or oat cookies!
Are you still ill? Hope it passes
😀
My guilty pleasures are leftover pizza or lasagna for breakfast… I have also been know to buy and eat birthday cakes when it’s not anybody’s birthday 🙂
Comfort food is the best thing when you’re not feeling so hot.
First off….I am so jealous you saw Rick Springfield. I remember that crush so well!! We were going to be married and I think I had even named all our children. LOL!!
I am going away for work next week and I feel like I need to give Elizabeth Berg another try! I thoguht I had read one of her books, but you have me wanting to read her again.
