OOH! Still stretching wiping sleep from my eyes. I am happy and exhausted all rolled into one. Yesterday was a marathon day and while I finished…. I feel I dragged myself across that line.
I had left my home at 7:30 am for a conference in Elk River, MN. My friend Wendy and I made the drive so it wasn’t too painful as we chat chat chat all the way. A little after 9 am we are at the conference and I am there until 5, where I bow out early as I have book club back in Brainerd at 6:30 and know I am going to be late late late. I arrive at book club and we discuss Annie Freeman’s Fabulous Traveling Funeral (more on that tomorrow when I review).
After book club wraps up around 8:30 pm I rush with my friend Laura to another location where it is our friend Chad’s birthday. My hubby had already been there and left (missed him!) but I still wanted to make an appearance.
10:30 pm I roll back into my yard and instead of going to bed I listen to That’s How I Blog with Nicole (Linus’s’ Blanket) and Amy (My Friend Amy) discussing BBAW – Book Blogger Appreciation Week. Click on the link and learn more about it! Then I read the comments from yesterdays BEA Giveaway bag which are awesome and if you haven’t signed up yet -there is still time to get in on this win!
So…. anyway – I am tired. And today is my Blogoversary so I am going to drink my coffee and remember what a fabulous year this has been. Please stop back in for the all day party! 😀

What a day! But it sounds wonderful, too. Being busy, even when it’s exhausting, is such an exhilarating feeling.
Have another great one!
Laurel things should slow down a bit now. I had to make a tough decision this morning and bow out of this weekends 150 mile bike ride. I just have too much going on and had to let that one go.
Busy busy busy. Days like that are so exhausting, but the things you had to do sound like fun so that helps I’m sure!
They are Trisha – I keep looking for the break…. maybe this evening…. after work and Group Power….
Happy blogoversary! How cool that we started on the same day. 😀
Wow you had a busy day yesterday, hopefully you can relax a bit today! 🙂
Hi Kristen – Happy Blogiversary to you too ! 😀
Congratulations on hitting the one year mark – can you remember life before your blog? 🙂
Sounds like you had a super busy day, at least it was filled with happy moments.
Mari – I think about that sometimes… I think I played a lot of word games on Facebook in the evenings. I love a good word game and love to challenge myself – Scrabble, word twist….. totoal word junkie! 😀
Wow, you had a busy day yesterday! I hope you can relax a bit more today ad enjoy your blogoversary!
Mary I wish that was the way it was but worked all day and then met a friend for rollerblading. Thats ok though – it was fun and I am home now so have the rest of the evening to enjoy 🙂
Whew, busy!
Happy blogiversery!
Hi Hannah – yes, I am ready for things to slow down a bit. 🙂
Hope you get the chance to slow down soon.
Sheila, you make me tired just reciting all you do. So, Happy Blogversary! I’ll stop back by later.
Kay – you arent the only one – I was exhausted this morning. 🙂
HAPPY BLOGVERSARY, my sweet book buddy! I hope you have a wonderful day today!
Thank you Sharon 🙂
That is an ultra-marathon day that you had.
It was Esme…. I really dont like my days that full – they wipe me out.
Happy Blogoversary! Hope you do something special (for yourself that is!) to celebrate!
I think this weekend Jill I will be able to slow down a bit hopefully and do a bit of the Bloggiesta and catch up on a few other projects.
Mercy! You are one busy person. Happy Blogoversary!
Thanks J Kaye 😉
You’re always on the go!! You must be “Super Woman”.
Happy Bloggiversary!!
I wish I was Vicki – because then I could have a really cool cape and a lasso! LOL
Happy Blogoversary!!!
Thank you Colleen!
It sounds like you might need to drink a couple extra cups. Do you have a time cut off for your coffee or do you drink it all day? 🙂
Jill – I usually quit the coffee in the am. Around 10 or 11 I crave water and that is my beverage of choice throughout the day. In the evening thought when I am back to down time- it is coffee.
Water is all I drink with the exception of my morning coffee. I think we are two rare people who crave water. I go into panic mode if I don’t have water with me at all times. 🙂
You could be right Jill, I have actually turned my car around if I am on my way to work and realize I forgot my water bottle. Now that it is summer (sort of) I keep a large container of water in the frig with either orange slices or lemon slices in it.
Sheila, I have a “BUBBA KEG”….no, not for beer, but for my water. Walmart sells them and they are the best! It has a small bottom so it fits in your cup holder in the car but then it gets real big up top. It’s super insulated so your ice cubes last. I have been known to turn my car around to retrieve Bubba. Yumm…..orange slices. I do the lemon but must try the orange.
I like that Jill – my jugs are 32 oz and I can go through two of those easy during the day. The orange slices are goo d- it gives a more light fruity taste than the tangy lemon.
Happy belated Blogoversary! Here’s to many more!
