Ahhh… it is that time of the week where I get to review what bookish items have come into my home. This weekly meme is hosted by Kristi from the Story Siren (who by the way celebrated two years of blogging this week!)
Ok… I cant wait so lets look shall we?
Shaunti Feldham is an incredible author. Her book For Women Only was incredibly inspiring to me. I was so excited to see that she has this new book available!!
I have drooled over this book since I first seen it and now here it is – in my home! Par-tay in da house! I have never read Nelson DeMille so this is going to be a real treat!
Dear John by Nicholas Sparks promises to be a great read. I received this in audio last week and now to have it in book form too….. AWESOME!
This is a January blog tour that I am a little pumped to look into. As busy and stressed out as I have been lately, this book may be just the pick me I need to get me back on track in the new year.
I read Pamela Samuelson for the first time earlier this year and loved her style. Now I have a chance to join forces with her again in her new book, Buying Time. Oh yeah – that’s a book mark over to the right…… uh huh.
Woo Hoo! Now here’s a book that I opened up the pack age to today and was super excited! Author of the Ya Ya Sisterhood (which of course I loved!)
And check this out! I won not one, not two, but three giveaways for December at J Kaye’s blog! Not only did that super rock – but they area all audio too which has become my favorite car pastime. Thank you J Kaye!
There it is – My Mailbox. What did you get in yours? Be sure to stop over at Story Siren’s Blog and link your post! 😉

Sheila-I will see you on the blog tour for Denise’s Daily Dozen-thanks by the way-thanks to you I have started doing the early morn gym workout-I am really pathetic-not to get up early and work out-today was 80 degrees-I was in my shorts from the gym the entire day baking away-It is 9pm and I am exhausted-but I go to my parents so as long as TSA does not eat the goodies I baked for them and the kittie sitter.
I won Dear John also. I have yet to received my Crowning Glory-but it will probably come Monday as we won that one together.
Lucky you with the Accountant’s Story-that is on my wish list-let me know how it is.
Oh thats right Esme – I need to look up where that book was won from and post it here. I have been so tired I didnt put a lot of love into the post…. 🙂
I hope you have fun with your new books. It’s like you have Christmas every week.
You are right Ryan, it feels like that some days! 🙂
Some good reads there though I think I’ll give the audio books a miss along with Denise’s Daily Dozen. Happy reading. (And listenng I suppose I should add. What is the term one uses to wish someone well listening to an audio book?)
I think audio would be happy listening Petty Witter. 🙂 I never thought I would really enjoy audio either but now I cant wait to get going in the car as I always have a story waiting for me!
I still can’t believe that I haven’t read DEAR JOHN yet. I’ll get it on audio sometime this coming year.
J Kaye, I am pretty pumped to read Dear John, I used to find Sparks books completely the same story over and over but with different characters,
Either I have changed or he has because his last few books have been wonderful reads.
Bookjourney, I find that if I spread his books out, I enjoy them more. Of course, I feel that way about most authors. 😉
Wow do you get a lot of book! Good for you 🙂
I only read 2-3 books a month, can I ask how do you do it (I am not being sarcastic)? Since I’m training for a few runs in 2010 I have taken to listening to books on audio (about 1 a month) this is the only reason it looks like I read a book a book a week. I’m always in awe of your speed readers!
You go girl!!!!
HI Mari, Not really a speed reader, I actually am asked this a lot. In fact I think I am going to write a post on it. 🙂
These look good. I am especially interested in the Jane Goodall book.
I’ve been seeing a lot about Dear John lately. I want to read the Last Song by him 🙂
I love the captions on your pictures. I’m jealous of the Rebecca Wells book. Enjoy!
Thanks Kathy!
Such an ecclectic collection of books you got this week – enjoy!
Thanks Jenn!
The Accountant’s Story looks interesting. Happy Reading!
I think it sounds good too Brittlit! 🙂
Great list! Thanks for stopping by yesterday! I am so excited to read Dear John…I’ve great things about it and the movie comes out in theaters in February!
Jamie I am excited to listen to that one! I have been just flying through the audios lately!
You certainly had a great week! I’ll be looking for your Denise Austin tour post.
–Anna
Thanks Anna, it looks like a fun read… I am curious to see what tips she offers. I am always up for learning new ways to be healthy.
Looks like a great week at your house!! I’m a huge Nicholas Sparks fan! I love his books and I am looking forward to your review of this one.
Your captions are awesome this week! 🙂
