  1. My favorite Nicholas Sparks book is The Wedding. I made the mistake of reading it on a plane and couldn’t stop crying at the end of it!. The Notebook is a close second as well.

  3. I’m not a fan. I pick the books up then end up choosing something else instead. And like some of the others, I almost bought this one 😉 I’d love a chance to win one. No excuses then.

    I don’t think I’ll see the movie. SO won’t go with so I’d have to find a friend to go with. Cable? I’ll watch it then.

  5. I really like Nicholas Sparks. The Notebook is my favorite although I will have to say for once I think the movie was better then the book.

  14. I have not yet read Dear John, but it has been very popular at our library as have all of Sparks’ books. I am going to choose it for our book club’s Jan. to Feb. selection. Read the book and see the movie.
    It is amazing the number of his books that have been made into movies – 4 released and 3 more due out.

    I enjoyed The Notebook, but I haven’t read any other Nicholas Sparks books. My best friend reads everything he writes and always wants me to read his books. I’ll probably go see the movie with her.

  48. I started to read The Wedding but it just sounded so predictable but I’m probably wrong. I did watch The Notebook and cried. It was such a wonderful story. As for Dear John saw the commercial yesterday and hope to watch it.
