This morning I am waking up in Texas! Texas! Any of you out there from Texas? I have a 9 am flight from here to Honduras… we should land around noon in Tegucigalpa.
I discovered a new blog last weekend called Educating Petunia. Love the title! While hopping around the blogesphere yesterday I found a book that was reviewed there called Green Angel by Alice Hoffman. Check out this cover:
Wow huh? And the review sounded really good too. Sometimes I feel like I am the last person on earth that has not yet read Alice Hoffman. What is up with that?

Thanks Sheila! The blog name comes from 2 sources. First, I love to learn and I homeschool so it was a play on words about being a student and a teacher at the same time. Second, Petunia was my Mom’s nickname for me when I was small.
